A little country store for the locals that provides some basics. The bacon and sausage are always fresh and well priced. They offer some other staples and also hardware and gas. Don't expect a jovial welcome for visiting as this is truly a locals hangout but if you continue to be yourself and shine their attitude won't rub off on you and you may even get a smile out of someone!

In response to the negative review from 2 days ago, this reviewer has misunderstood the situations. The pumps were not able to read over $4/gallon and therefore to continue to serve customers a sign was posted that the price shown was per 1/2 gallon....And no one was ever charged $8.80/gallon. The store owner has integrity and would never price gouge. He actually kept prices under $4/gallon after most had gone well above that. The pumps now have new parts, are fixed & ready to serve customers.

How can a store charge 8.80 a gallon for 87 gas. Sign our no sign this is illegal. Just because you can’t afford new pumps does not mean you can over charge your community.

Fri Jul 16, 2021 stopped for gas and paid with cash. Asked to use the restroom and the clerk said they didn't have public restrooms. How does a convenient store, out in the country, not have public restrooms? I'm African American, she was Caucasian. I was a paying customer, not somebody stopping to just use the bathroom

Do not go here unless you have broken down. No one who works there wears a mask and no customers wear a mask. The lady behind the counter will make you wait for a commercial break from her soap operas to help you.
