I had no idea what to do … I needed a new alternator - luckily they were recommended to me by the local auto zone- they fixed my car and had us back on the road in no time !! Thanks to them my family just experienced a slight delay vs a disaster - without then we wouldn’t have been able to take our trip and I probably would have had to wait until Monday for another shop to open so I would have missed work and the kids would have had to miss school - THEY SAVED THE DAY

“Dealt directly with Starling, simply a great experience. My Kubota M4700 left rear tractor wheel blew out the sidewall. Shopped on ebay, amazon, and other local dealers. Starling's quote pretty much matched (give or take) all the others except his price included the tube (the other prices were tire only) disposing of the damaged tire, plus mounting the new one. I get a call from Starling saying my rim is in good condition and in his opinion will not need the tube included in the original quote. When I picked up the tire, the bill was over a $100 less than what was originally quoted. This blew away all the other quotes which were for the tire only. The old Firestone was 6 ply, this tire is 8 ply. This is so rare in today's environment, the surprise is almost always in the other direction. Gunn Auto has earned all my future business. Kudos to Starling, easy to work with, and my tire was mounted and ready for pick up within one day.”

“A mechanic with integrity and pride in his work.As my Gf made her way home from her grandfather’s funeral, my car died in Reidsville, North Carolina. I was able to get a rental for her, but my car was left behind. 11 hours away from home, I was in a bind. Henry saved the day. He got the vehicle moved to his garage at QMJ Enterprise Unocal, diagnosed the problem, and performed the repair. Not only did he do this, but he went above and beyond communicating and ensuring the car was all set when the transport came to pick it up. I am incredibly grateful that he was the one to take care of my car. I highly recommend this shop; you couldn’t be in better hands.”

“My engine was making a clicking noise, and another mechanic had told me that I needed a new engine. I was skeptical, so I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion with Smith because people I trust told me that they were honest and competent.
Sure enough, all I needed was a new harmonic balancer - or crankshaft pulley.
They replaced it for me and I was able to pick it up the next day.
My car runs great now, no more engine clicking, and I could not be happier.

“I needed to have my newly purchased 2005 Honda CR-V inspected. I took it to Xpress Lube of Reidsville . My wait was minimal and the job was completed in about a half an hour. A head light had to be replaced, but they had it in stock. I recommend this location at least for an inspection. I will be going back for other minor repairs.”
“It was late evening (after hours) when my car broke down. i was calling around in search of A place to tow my car and possibly diagnose the problem. This guy was the only one who would help me. After picking me up and looking over my car on the side of the road, He had my car towed to his garage. He diagnosed and repaired my problem within just A couple of hours of me making the call to him for help. I later checked by phone with other garages to compair their price on the same job that this guy did for me. I was amazed to find that this guy did the repair for more than $200 less than others wanted without the towing. And with all of this being done after hours. THANKS AGAIN!!!! Simply A great guy.....”
