I love watching the dwarf frogs that are displayed at the check out. This would make an excellent Christmas gift.
Propane is less than $13 for a 20 gallon tank.

Helpful staff with cheerful attitudes make shopping enjoyable. I also appreciate the fact that staff will think with me to identify alternative solutions to problems. Finally, I appreciate their willingness to order items if they are not regularly stocked (They have done this for me on several occasions).

Stumbled on this store a few weeks ago. Great friendly people, good
products, good price on propane refills, and they know how to properly fill tanks fully. I'll have all my tanks
filled by them from now on. Highly recommend!

Melvins has moved from the location pictured, down to the south end of Randleman at the business 220 & 311 interchange.(Tge old go cart track). This has given them about 3X more space to showcase their splendid inventory. I frequent them about 3 to 4 times a week for various supplies to complete my numerous projects. Aaron, Butch & the other staff are always available for a friendly chat & I usually find what I want in the store. If it's not in inventory then they can order it. I ordered a 3 person wooden porch swing this summer & it arrived in 4 days.I much prefer shopping here than going to Wal-Mart or driving a half hour to Lowes Hardware in Asheboro.
