A beloved family member passed away. I am the only remaining relative. When I contacted Wells Fargo via the phone, I was told we have joint accounts, so I should go in person to a local branch. I did so, and explained why I was there. Despite arriving ahead of the next customer, I was asked to wait for that customer to have service first, as it was just a ‘quick’ notarization. That took over 45 minutes and included waiting for a spouse to come from the gym. The banker did take time to point out to me that there is another banker but that he can’t help me as he is leaving for the day. I watched that banker spend 20 minutes milling around before departing. The banker who asked me to wait then told me he can’t find any accounts, can’t be bothered to call the phone numbers where I was directed to the bank, directs me to come back when I have a death certificate in hand, but can’t tell me why I should come with a death certificate (unfortunately, ordering out of state death certificates take a lot of time). Why do they need a death certificate if there are no accounts? All of that took less than 10 minutes, since he couldn’t be bothered to make any effort. As I am leaving he shouts ‘sorry for your loss’ across the lobby. Yes, so sorry that he wants me to return, again, to be treated poorly and as if this is less important than a car title notarization. At this point, I have spent over 3 hours attempting to straighten out these accounts with Wells Fargo.

Visited the branch on the 8th and worked with Zachary Guntz. Banker was supposed to follow up with me about my account and I haven’t heard back by the 15th, called in over 20 times it’s IMPOSSIBLE to reach the bank on the phone. I then went into my Wells Fargo app to “create an appointment” it then showed a number to another banker at the location, after leaving multiple voicemails she did call me back. I then received a call back from Zach 20+ days after my initial visit. Very unprofessional. At that point I had already handled the issue at the 1-800 number. This isn’t the branch I usually go to and it was a BIG MISTAKE to still go here after seeing it has 3 stars on reviews.

Dreadful banking experience. This branch is OK, but the bank as a whole is awful. I cannot wait to close these accounts and go to a more friendly, customer service oriented bank. Avoid at all costs.

Was in the bank today with a customer in front of me young full "Karen" on the staff when the computer service happened to be running slow. Customer was irate and hostile but they stayed professional and calm. I'm surprised the customer wasn't forcibly removed from the bank.My customer service was stellar and everyone in the bank is super friendly and helpful. Waits can sometimes take several minutes, but I feel like this is commonplace for banking.However I would recommend contacting 911 authorities when customers are behaving this way, you never know if they're going to behave unpredictably, for the safety of Staff and other customers in the bank. I did not feel safe while she was in the location.

Scheduled an appointment to see a banker, was met outside and told to see a drive through teller for my deposit and there “aren’t and bankers available to see you” before I could finish telling her why I scheduled an appointment for a deposit and modifications to my checking account. Great reminder to leave Wells Fargo behind and bank with a local credit union.
