Repeatedly the Worst customer service. Tried calling in my prescription yesterday was told to call today no problem. Called in my prescription at 8:30am as they open at 8 so I wanted to give them time to get opened. Was told it would be ready at lunchish . Showed up at 5 on my way home from work and was told they didn't have the full prescription so rather than calling me they decided to just not fill it. I got upset that they didn't even call me to discus the options and just decided the best solution was to just do nothing at all. They told me it would be ready in 15ish minutes I said that’s fine I’ll wait right here. I was told I couldn’t wait right there. I was never once offered an apology. I was told if I don't like the service to go somewhere else not by an associate (The girl at the window was actually very nice and pleasant) by the pharmacist Johnathan WALL, he never once asked why I was upset nor did he care. When I asked to speak to a manager he poorly gave me the most vague information possible. When I told him I wanted to speak to the store manager he laughed and said good I can’t wait. When I went up front to ask to speak to the store manager I was told he was on vacation. Convenient but sounds like nothing would happen anyways! I spend 1,000's of dollars on prescriptions with Walgreens every year for me and my family. They don’t give a crap about customers. Johnathan Wall the pharmacist needs to be trained on how to properly communicate, all of this could have been avoided by a simple phone call and a true apology. I understand things happen out of our control, that’s life but simple communication and asking why someone is upset is basic customer service. They have no problem over communicating with me when they want my money but can’t call, text, email me any important information. This pharmacy used to be worth going to but they sadly don’t care about customers/patients.

I had a 3;15p vax appointment and they took the 3:30p person first. So annoying. Pretty sure I made an appointment for a reason...

This review is for the pharmacy only. Since Monday I've been working on getting my prescription filled on Friday before I left town. My doctor wrote the prescription with directions to start the medication on the 17th & the pharmacy said they couldn't fill it because of that note. Called my Doctors office who called to let the pharmacy know it was okay to fill it on 4/14, they were told they had to resend in the prescription. So my doctor did, with the same directions of starting the medication on the 17th. She did have a fill date for 4/14. I called this morning to confirm all was good to go & Alex informed me that "my doctor messed up again" & wrote two dates. I explained one was the directions of the medication & the other was to fill it. He had the nastiest tone while talking to me and told me they could call but I told him I would call as in the past they didn't handle things in a timely manner & I had a flight to catch. He rudely said "oh yeah, okay, well you do that, hmph" then hung up on me. I was baffled. After calling my doctors office to explain the issue, i called Walgreens back & Alex claimed he was the pharmacy manager - come to find out that was a lie confirmed while speaking with corporate. He also refused to give me his last name, he was so nasty & argumentative both times we spoke. I see all these reviews & clearly I'm not the first to run into this issue here. Then, I called back around 12:30 & this time Josh answered. He started telling me what happen before realizing he didn't ask me for my information so I told him I could tell alex had already spoken with you about this. Josh was just as rude in his tone, then tried to be condescending by saying "no need to be disrespectful, I'm Trying to help you." I made it appoint to let him know that his name is reviewed many of times for this behavior and I would tread lightly with me as I have no problem taking things to corporate for his behavior as well. I also said I'm frustrated that the staff feels it's okay to speak to me the way they have. He explained he was the tech that was dealing with my doctors office yesterday so I asked him why am I having such an issue if you were told via phone to fill it today & they even resent the prescription as you asked. He explain the date thing again (** why didn't you address that upon receiving it yesterday while working with my doctors office**) After all of this, he said a verbal confirmation would be fine this time which to me sounds like they have a power struggle over there and they look for issues not to fill people's prescription which is mind blowing considering they work in healthcare and should be doing their most to help make things go smoothly. He offered to call my doctors office and I said please because I need to catch my flight this evening. Within 10 mins my prescription was filled but not because they called - thankful my doctors office had already resent the prescription to be filled and the pharmacist already was working on it. So No that's not credit to Josh as I know he felt good when he called me to let me know it was ready for pick up like he did me a favor but I already received notice from my Doctor in my MyChart account that it was taken care of.I will be moving to a different pharmacy as this wasn't my first time having issue with the pharmacy techs but it will be the last time I ever have to argue with the pharmacy because they are argumentative rather than helpful. I also don't feel like they are trustworthy and I do believe they would have made me wait if I wasn't so proactive on my end. It's unbelievable how they behave & they clearly feel entitled to do so.I hope corporate takes my complaint Seriously. Over 15 years of my adult life of filling my prescription with walgreens and I never had so much issues with a location like I do here. I also told them to look at the reviews on google as it's clear this is a reoccurring issue with a

I was new to Medicare Advantage and presented my new insurance card when filling a new prescription in May of 2022. I thought it would cost something less than $30 so was surprised when told it would be $104.89. I shared my thought with the clerk and asked them to check again. They took a minute or so and then told be that the $104.89 was right. Unfortunately I just let it go until 90 days later when I refilled the same prescription for $18 in August of 2022. I shared the history with the clerk and they verified that I should have only been charged $18 on prior refill but was told that too much time had passed for them to do anything in the store so it would be best for me to contact Walgreen corporate directly for fastest resolution. I took some time but eventually filed a complaint on line in December of 2022, and was happy when they told me they had resolved the issue and that I should expect to get a refund check within 6 to 8 weeks. Sadly what I got 8 weeks later was a letter from Walgreens corporate telling me that I needed to file a claim with my insurance company. Very frustrated at this point based on being back to square one on resolution. I tried contacting Walgreens again and have heard nothing for over a month. I've decided it wasn't worth the hassle but while this Walgreens store on Strickland avenue in Raleigh NC is the most convenient pharmacy for me I cannot use Walgreens any longer because poor service has to have consequences.

Horrible service from the pharmacy. They refused my insurance for the prescription, when I told them it was a mistake they told me to call my insurance. I waited in the waiting area while my insurance tried to call in three times to help correct their mistake. They never answered and when I told them they made the mistake they immediately said it was my Insirance to blame. I had to insist they call my insurance to get the medication covered-- which it finally was because it was in fact their mistake.

Most Walgreens in my area is always clean, well stocked, and easy to get on and check out.

Such terrible experience and service. First I call you refill a prescription as I have one last refill and they refuse saying they don't have that apparently and need it sent from the doctor. They sign me up for text messages and didn't receive one all day. Then I reach out to the doctor and it gets sent. I call back a couple hours later and they said they haven't received it yet and say to call back in two more hours. Then I call and they say they haven't and then say oh yes, it's coming in now and will be ready in two hours. Then I call 5 HOURS LATER and say I'm checking to see if my prescription is ready and she says oh we just got it and I'll start it now. To which I replied I got that same answer 5 hours ago. It took 10 hours to get my prescription and them never reaching out to me as promised. Terrible terrible terrible.

They have a history for racial profiling, as well as following their own guidelines on medications rather than the doctors or insurance companies. JOSH the manager will tell you all about it!

This was star was generous, this is the worst Pharmacy ever! The first prescription I dropped off was not filled, it was until after I got two hours down the road I realized the young lady gave me the wrong medication. Figured it was an honest mistake and even though annoyed, I wrote it off. Two weeks ago I hand delivered another prescription to pick up the same day! It's now week two and no one in the pharmacy can tell me where my prescription is! I've gotten two phone calls last week saying they would contact my doctor to have resent as a result of their negligence. I called to check this morning and nothing had been done and no one even called me to give me an update. The most unprofessional and unorganized staff I have ever encountered.

I love this place the people are nice the welcome you when you walk in the door. I have been a lot of places and treated rudely by employees. These people do their best to help you and if they aren't able to help they try and find someone who can. 5 stars to all the employees, front end and pharmacy!

The pharmacy is horrible. Always a huge line. They don't honor the Express. Several employees have been kinda rude.

This visit was to get prescriptions for the Flu. By the time I arrived the prescriptions were ready. Added my insurance information and I was on my way. Fast, easy and the employee was friendly. I'll return.

I went to get cheap Valentine's Day candy 2 days after. As the guy was ringing me up some of the candy didn't ring up half off so I simply just asked if that candy wasn't part of the half off stuff. He then proceeded to get angry and agitated with me and called me sir about 4 times and I'm a woman. I almost just left without getting anything but I didn't want to make a scene like the employee was. Needless to say I won't be shopping here again.
