Recently required a visit to the cardiology department at WM Brier Creek. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The doctor I saw took the time to explain in terms I could understand what my problem was, tests she thought were best to be certain, and alleviated by concern of having to see a heart doctor! Dr. Ngongang was great and I'm happy she's on my care team.

The doctors here are amazing, but STAY AWAY. You will end up with thousands in improperly coded bills that cannot be fixed. These people will cost you a lot of money in lack of billing expertise.

I went early Saturday morning, and I was in and out in an hour. Wow! Who does that for an ER visit!

If you want care, I suggest going to a different ER. I got back to a room super fast which was a plus and after flagging down a staff member 2+ hours later because I hadn’t seen my nurse or doctor, I finally got the doctor in. Things move so slow. And I get understaffing, however, there was no real quality of care.

I was seen for severe back pain. The nurse that treated me had no compassion! In fact she asked me where I wanted my pain patch and she refused to place it there. I took off the patch and placed it where my pain was. I was supposed to have prednisone before leaving and it wasn't given to me. I also was discharged without having the opportunity to ask any questions nor did i sign anything!! I will not be back! Terrible care from this visit!!

As a Patient and as a Family, we found the ER Staff Welcoming, Exceptionally Skilled, Compassionate, who went the distance for Assessment, Cares and Medically Treating Exponentially both my husband and myself for Respiratory Distress and...The People committed to our cares that we recall were: Dr Eric Stashko, Nurse Nicolas, RN, Becka, Respiratory, Radiology and an Impressive Talent 4 + w the Ambulance Crew who Transported my husband to Wake Med Cary, ICU who Actively Engaged w Cares to keep my Husband Comfortable and at Ease.We have So Appreciated Wake Med Briar Creek and the Emergency Room to be Exceptional Medical Professioals w High Standards, Ethiics and Quick Medical Response to Medical Challenges.We find them to be a Diamond in the rough, a Shining Star above and beyond, compared to other Triangle Emergency Rooms. Wake Med ER Briarcreek Offers much. Surrounding ER Hospital have much to learn from Wakemed Briar Creek and do WakeMed Hospital Proud!Respescfully,Maureen and Chuck CoxTHANK YOU!

The best healthcare related experience of my life. The entire staff was professional, courteous and reassuring. Rarely does anyone want to be in a situation where they are in the hospital but I hope they are in the hands of a place like WakeMed

I had a very amazing experience at this location Tommye Kidd I believe was her name was great, an the pa that treated me. She listen an understood what I was feeling we need more people like them in healthcare! It was the kindness a not being rushed off or feeling like their not listening. First off the staff is so amazing they are helpful and very sweet. When I walked in and registered, I was going to sit down and before I could even do that they were already calling me back to be admitted. The whole place is clean and organized. I also like that they are very professional and they value privacy which is nice when you don’t want everyone hearing your business. Manny my nurse was so sweet and took his time to explain everything and also to make me feel comfortable. Lastly, DR. Pushchak really looked like he cared and listened. Not that I ever want to come back to the ER but if it were to happen in the future, I will definitely be coming here.

I went with my dad a few days ago, the doctors were okay but the nurses and receptionist were pointless. No empathy nor care for their patients nor my father, one nurse threatened to have me removed simply for expressing how urgently we needed help in that moment. The rudest woman i’ve ever met, I don’t even know how or why she’s in this field—if you don’t have sympathy or the patience to support & be there for your patients, perhaps consider a different career because it definitely left us feeling like the only thing they cared about that day was making a pathetic check.. I would never recommend anyone get care here because you won’t receive it. If anything we left feeling worse. Another patient who was waiting had to assist us because nobody wanted to do their job that day apparently. Even the security was useless, I asked for a wheelchair and he literally replied “What do you want me to do about that?”. Useless staff.
