The store is really small and the lines are always long but the staff is very helpful. I rarely have issues at this location.

The staff works hard to answer questions and provide needed materials for school.Ordering books/ supplies can be hectic but i's to be expected with the volume of people served on a daily basis.

The website of the bookstore is very poor, it took lot of time to process the rental return of textbook and was not able to print the return label of the book. Also I tried reaching through the bookstore telephone, but no response

This is going to be long but if you care about going here , this could help you. I started going to wake tech last year in the fall, it was heavily advertised and influenced through my high school that you would get extra aid that year if you graduated in the following class so when I got there, I found out that was a lied and there were other qualifications to it that was never on the website when you applied on seen the "free tuition", so it was already weird when I got there. I would call my aid and talk to my counselor's about my classes throughout the fall and the aid was completely rude every time. When I got into my spring semester by this time I was drained and felt out of it but I was taking a class with a professor who just came off very condescending and rude. In one instance, I came on camera with my natural hair in a short Afro pulled back with a bow headband and we had to have our cameras on to take test so when i turned my camera on he laughed when you looked up to my screen when I started speaking. I would later withdraw from the class because of how he over all treated me every time and how he was as a teacher. i filed a complain't but I reAlized that they didn't care I never heard anything back at all. i had a situation where a professor accused me of something and at first I thought the meeting was about helping me but I shortly realized he just wanted to make a point out of me. During, he kept asking me things I knew was not correct to the class work but I said yes because I felt so pressured in the moment I didn't want him wouldn't report me. he threatened me multiple times so I just said whatever to get out of this situation and i kept apologizing over and over, I explained to him my situation and he mocked it basically not believing me. I realized this school is not safe after that moment, he used his own upperhand as a professor. That experience shaken me a lot because of how I as talked to by them, the constant name calling and laughing in my face which I never called them out their name once, but they didn't care it was basically if you don't shut up I will do this and I just said whatever would help me get out the meeting. I decided to not file a complaint bc I don't feel safe with in the school now or even when I leave. When you file a complaint, it isn't anonymous so I don't feel safe going through that and I even talked about what happened with my parent and how that really affected me. I didn't feel comfortable being around the professor and I'm never taking any of their classes. The school isn't good at all, me and my older sibling have both went there and came out with horrible experiences, it's best to just go look up other communities colleges bc i can get a better price with nicer and better teachers. If you still do plan to go here, please look up your professors on websites like ratemyprofessor.com, if I did I would have realized sooner that they were passive aggressive, arrogant, condescending, degrading, and unprofessional, which is just from former students. I'm taking a gap semester and going to a new community college. Please take my experience with a grain a salt or rice lol and be careful where you applied and trust your parents when they tell you things about school bc I wished I listened to mine about this one.

The staff is very super hero crazy quick and efficient. The girlbat The register answered a question that I kind of half asked before I finished asking. I ask about a tote so if you are that person, you are the best!

I thought that Wake Tech would be a good choice regarding schools to attend when deciding to go back to school. Unfortunately I’m now regretting that decision. The campus is confusing. Signage posted is not helpful when trying to locate a department. The signs from the street only has the letters of the bldgs but not saying what department is in the bldg which will have you driving all around until you run upon someone who happens to be walking to get clear directions. The bookstore on the North campus doesn’t have books for all programs offered so you’re directed to contact the main campus who never answers the phone and have hours that aren’t cohesive with all working adults schedules. There’s it an option to have books delivered when ordering online. Needless to say Wake Tech overall could definitely do better in these areas of concern.

When will they enable reviews to leave zero stars? This place was a JOKE. I took Central Sterile Processing online with 2 in person classes. The "professor" never answered questions, never replied to emails, the homework questions were literally just copied chapter outlines, and she actually said our 1st class, "I almost cancelled bc Im too busy."Like we arent. I dont know why she didnt cancel, there was nothing spectacular she divulged therein. Its a month after class has ended and I still dont have a grade, which you need to be able to print your certificate of completion, without which you cant take the official industry wide exam to be licensed. They only offer the exams a couple times a year, and thanks to her, Ive missed the exam deadline. Her boss also doesnt answer emails or calls. You may as well just buy the book, teach yourself, (you will anyway) and google the industry exam info. Save yourself money and frustration.
