I am so disappointed in Rex hospital. My 80 year old father was brought in by ambulance with chest pains and they set him in theLobby waiting room. Then when they brought him back they don’t even have beds anymore. He has sat in a wheelchair the whole time. Now they have stuck him back in the lobby waiting room to wait. What is wrong with the idiots. They are more worried about a Covid test than the patient. Don’t bring your love one here.

Due to insurance change, I had to move my mammogram screening to Wake Radiology. It has not been a good transition. I had my previous records sent from Raleigh Radiology to Wake prior to a visit to try and avoid any break in information. At Wake, I had to wait over 30 minutes. The screening went quickly, maybe too quickly. The number of images was minimal compared to previous screenings. No surprise, I get a call that I need to come in again for "additional" images because they didn't get a full picture. I explained that I did not want a diagnostic screening and was assured that this was additional images as followup. Turned out that the "additional" images cost me out of pocket almost $500! I will be calling Raleigh Radiology to see what their cost would be for someone out of network. The standard of care is much, much higher at Raleigh Radiology.

I would highly recommend Wake Radiology UNC REX, because they were very informative on my current health condition. They were also very helpful and kind from the beginning to the end.

My PCP referred me to Wake Radiology. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Wake Radiology. As a young female, I was already nervous to have to do an ultra sound on my breast and having the doctor speak down to me and come off as a burden to their time for my questions did not add to the situation. While I was told it was a zit and a hematoma, myself and my PCP were discouraged by their prognoses and general attitude and therefore, sent me somewhere else for a second opinion. Turned out it was an external cyst and internal cyst that ruptured. Got an in office procedure done and sent to pathology. No ultra sound needed and the second practice was easy to work with. They also were receptive to questions and were straight forward with responses as well addressing all concerns. Only will return and recommend the other practice moving forward.
