“We had our wedding on 2/1/25 and could not have asked for a more perfect venue or planning service.

Our ceremony was at Sacred Heart Church, but the bridal party got ready at the Merrimon Wynne House and we had our cocktail hour and reception there as well. The entire team at MW made sure our day ran smoothly. I had around 15 total girls getting ready in the bridal suite and the space was perfect. We had around 195 guests and there was plenty of space for everyone. The guests floated from the main house to the lawn during our cocktail hour and played the lawn games provided by Merrimon Wynne. The main house is absolutely stunning. The carriage house was set up perfectly for the reception by our vendors and the MW team ensured every detail was flawless. I was absolutely worry free during the wedding weekend.

We used the in-house planning and Heather was our planner. She answered every question I had in great detail from booking her service up until the wedding weekend. She was extremely kind and informative during the whole process. The wedding day was a delight because of her, she directed the bridal party and the guests with such kindness. She went over to Sacred Heart during the ceremony and ensured every detail was perfect there too. During the reception, we had dance props passed out by the MW team, which our guests just loved! My parents surprised us by having the NC State mascots have a special appearance at the reception, and this was also executed perfectly by Heather!

We also used the in house Photo Booth which captured excellent photos of our guests. It was set up in the main house for the cocktail hour and was moved outside of the carriage house during the reception. The guests used it all night! We were sent the digital copies of the photos, which we will cherish forever!

We would not have changed a thing and feel so grateful for the beautiful Merrimon Wynne House and the excellent team there!”

“Never a bad time, wish they opened a little earlier but I get it not a huge a day rush to throw some axes, how about an axe throwing happy hour? Any way great spot, with seating all over and great food options. Lots to do here if you have to wait or need to take a break. It's worth at least a one time try.”

“This Saturday, they held the Rusty Wallace Experience at this track. Look it up if you love Adrenaline! Anywho, my ride along with Corey was really fun. He's been driving for about 20 yrs. Also, a real cool down to earth guy! We had the best experience there. Everyone was so friendly, too. What a wholesome fun activity. Late July is a good time to go.”

“There are numerous play spaces for younger children and Little Doodles is a gem of a place. I have two toddlers who enjoy the space. They have affordable membership prices as well as day prices cheaper than other places. There are lots of activities for parents that want to guide their children in play, but independent play is safe here.There are larger places with climbing equipment, but that is not this type of establishment. Great for a younger kids to socialize and parents who could use a cup of coffee .”

Morris Peaceland Farm is an enchanting venue.There are many reasons why we decided to chose Morris Peaceland Farm for our venue however, our top two reasons were the people and the location.1. The PeopleWe toured the venue with Kathi Morris. When reflecting back on the tour we felt that Kathi was genuinely invested in her couples and making the day exactly what they envision. We worked with Kathi and Maglen frequently leading up to our big day. They were both very responsive, helpful, supportive, and a pleasure to work with.I'd highly recommend connecting with their suggested vendors. We selected a suggested photographer, K Star's Photography and a suggested DJ, Epic DJ Entertainment (Apex). Our DJ ended up referring our officiant who absolutely nailed our ceremony, Ingrid Sagula We felt like we were surrounded by sincere people that were truly motivated to make our day the best it could be!2. The LocationMorris Peaceland Farm is extremely convenient to downtown Raleigh and Cary but it feels like you're removed from all the city hustle and bustle. It's like you're in a secret garden tucked away. The road is set away from the venue. You don't have cars flying by, sirens every ten minutes, etc. It's beautiful during the day and at night. We had our ceremony at the dock which we loved! There are many different spots for beautiful photos. Our guests loved walking around the venue taking in all the outdoor splendor! We received many compliments from our guests regarding the venue and how beautiful it was!In addition to the amazing people and gorgeous location:-They have a huge inventory of items you can use which includes various tables, design items, easels, etc.-We didn't have to rent chairs, tables, or linen as it came with booking the venue!-They have a calligrapher which we utilized heavily for our table assignments, various mirrors, and frames. Every single item was exactly what we requested.We would highly recommend having your wedding or any event at Morris Peaceland Farm!”

“I love this place. I have been a member for 20 years. I use the gym almost every day, the tennis courts (weather permitting), and have conducted a few large gatherings/parties.

“We could not have been happier with Bridge club and their incredible staff for our wedding. We used the second floor space for our ceremony and dinner for 25 guests and it was phenomenal. You already know that a venue from Ashley Christensen is going to have unbelievable food (many comments from guests about it being the best wedding food they've ever had) but the staff is what made the difference.Jessie was great to work with for the touring and booking of the space but we could not have been more impressed once Michelle took over as the event coordinator. Our wedding planner left a lot to be desired and Michelle essentially took over. We were so grateful for her constant communication, coordinating with vendors, making sure we got everything out of our package and managing every small detail in the days leading up to the event. We were also thoroughly impressed with the staff on the day of. They were so personable, engaging and professional with our guests.If you are doing a wedding, rehearsal dinner or reception in downtown Raleigh, Bridge Club is the way to go!”

“The only place that reminds me of the old cobblestone road near Laoximen in Shanghai that I used to go to when I was a child. Although the road is a bit short, it is still very classic.”

“Held a birthday fundraiser event recently at Hibiscus and everyone enjoyed it! The sweet spirit the center exudes made our event a big success. Working with Nneka was a breeze. She personifies the atmosphere of her center. Space is versatile, lots of parking, safety, convenient to hotels and major highways, and all the amenities we needed to produce a musical, have dinner, and a party afterwards. “I had my 40th birthday party here and can’t say enough good things about this venue! The Events Manager, Lori, was amazing from start to finish! I had so many friends and family coming from out of town that I paid a little extra for her to completely decorate the room for my party. She asked me what colors I wanted to use and went all out with my theme! With the food I ended up deciding on getting some hot entree trays and setting up a buffet style meal. Lori let me rent her catering equipment and even got a couple servers to come in and serve the meal so that I knew everything was sanitary for my guests. I was able to have a great time with my guests because Lori and her staff took care of everything! What started out as a party that I was going to set up and decorate myself when I had rented just the room stepped up to the next level by adding on the services of Lori and her staff! It may have cost me a little extra but I have to say it was well worth it! I would definitely have another event here!”

“I had a wonderful wedding reception here. The inside of the lodge is beautiful, with warm wood floors and two large stone fireplaces. The kitchen space was fantastic, and included a walk-in cool room. The staff was friendly and helpful. My wedding was in the middle of the summer; it was extremely hot and muggy outside, but we stayed cool inside, even with a large crowd. The only downside is that no red drinks are allowed, including red wine and red punch, because they want to protect the floors. That didn't deter us, though, or make our wedding any less fun. We kept it simple and let the beauty of the room and the trees do the decorating for us. If I got to do it all over again, I would choose Campbell Lodge, every time!”

“The room was clean and the location was great! My only complaint is that I was here for a business trip and this room was paid for by my company before arrival. I was told they still needed a card on file for our stay and my card would not be charged for the room. My card ended up being charged for the room anyway, even though I was told it would not be charged and it has been over a week since being told I would be refunded and the charge is still on my card. The stay was great but make sure you check your card statement closely!!”
