Sonny is a gem and always helpful in finding the best method to get a package to its location. A wealth of knowledge on the neighborhood and efficient at his job! Yes, they close at lunch, but postal workers need to eat too. Just plan accordingly and drop by before noon or after 1 p.m.

Sterling, 'like the silver,' was of incredible help when I was out of town and a package was marked as invalid.
She went to the Capital location and had it fixed for me! 5 starts customer success. She deserves a raise and promotion!

Can't even get waited on here. Stood at the counter for quite a while, no one ever came out to help or even acknowledged me. I could see someone in the back, so I know they could see me. Went to a different location 5 minutes away and received kind helpful service. It's not a postal service issue, it's a location issue

This is one of the better post offices out there. Sonny, the person normally at the counter, goes out of his way to make sure everyone ships their items correctly and in the most efficient and effective manner. All these folks posting negative reviews seem mad at the USPS in general and are just taking it out on this individual post office.

Was trying to call my wife and ask if we wanted a book of stamps, and post office manager told me that I couldn't be in the post office or get service if I was on the phone.

~recommend if it's your only option.the hours need to be adjusted. their hours are convenient for retirees & maybe people that don't work 9-5 type of hours.maybe rotate THEIR lunch breaks so they can stay OPEN 12-1 ( so that a lot of their other customers would be able to come in during THEIR lunch break) and be open on Sat at least 9-1. that's a big day for people to run errands and get things done.i've only come across one employee that is friendly most of the time (& i have caught him on a bad day where he's like the others-NOT FRIENDLY at all.)this would be my #1 choice if not for those few things that i feel need to be addressed.

In the last couple of years I’ve had great experiences at this post office. The clerk greets me when I come in, he apologizes if there’s been a wait, he takes the time to offer alternative mailing options if there is one, and he reminds me to pick up some stamps if I need them. Always a pleasant experience when he’s there.
