I have to rave about Mary at the Brow bar. I booked an appointment a few days ago for a lamination, tint, and wax which I have never done a lamination or tint before. Mary delivered!!! She did soo good I am in love, she took the time to walk me through every step, answered every question, and shaped my brows to what I liked and wanted. I felt so heard and pampered too! The pricing for the brow services were extremely fair. I’ll be coming back for more & only to be seen by Mary! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. :)

In a word; HORRIBLE. I dont have a lot of experience with applying make-up and today I brought my daughter in to receive education.
Body language is important in communication. The young lady that we asked for help was subtly disinterested and undercover-rude. She faced a different direction as thoroughly DISinterested. She referred us to the back of the store where “classes” were held. However, ladies in the front were assisting clients.
Truthfully, I am a parent 5-times over and have experienced many distasteful things in my lifetime, from socials biases, such as ageism, genderism, sexism and any other ISM that can be quoted, to blatant classism. Of all the isms, racism is the worst! It’s subtle, unspoken, tasteless and odorless, like antifreeze as poison.
My child is far better than the warm bodies filled with cold blood that seem to be hired because they have a pulse. If hospitals treated patients this way, our death tolls would be exponentially higher. Other highly publicized communities advertised on social media have it far better than people of color and we have endured the greatest number of DISes, from disrespect and discrimination, to disingenuousness, for far longer. I will never set foot in this establishment again, nor will I allow my daughter or even granddaughters to grace this place of busy-mess.
Leadership should be ashamed. Stop discussing diversity when your efforts to apply these principles are disgusting. Not everyone that has a good eye has good eyes. I will be sure to leave comments for the major cosmetic line we sought. It is heartbreaking and sad. No one notices this behavior until THEY are victims of the biases they advertise on social media.
Respectfully, going to the mall.

If I could give 0 stars I would . My hair was absolutely ruined. Cynthia took 12 inches of my hair and cut it all within seconds, after we both confirmed where I would like it to be. I looked at myself astonished as to what just happened . I was at a lost of words until my body filled with rage. Please beware if you have long hair . Nothing but time will correct this issue . I will never recommend to anyone I know
Update :
I contacted Ulta via DM like they commented, and NOTHING happened. A few messages exchange with them always saying someone will be in contact with me . 2 weeks later and I gave up. RIDICULOUS.

7 years later... The customer service is gone. The girl who worked the online order checkout, gray dress and caterpillar eyelahes, wow, nice to meet you too. Was I even present? Who knows bc she only asked my last name, but looked everywhere else, except in my general direction, spoke with coworkers and appeared to be in a state of apathy.

Extremely disappointed with Ulta's service. I booked an appointment for formal hair and makeup well in advance for an important event. Two days before the appointment, they called to cancel, saying the stylist I booked wouldn't be available and no one else could do it. Their system shouldn't have allowed the booking if they couldn't fulfill it. Because of the last-minute cancellation, all nearby Ulta locations were fully booked, leaving me without options for my event. Highly unprofessional and inconvenient

Sometimes ordered get cancelled because they don’t actually have items. For Christmas I really wanted a eyeshadow palette and I had just gone the day prior. They had plenty but when I did my online order they cancelled and said it was out of stock. I think they just saw it was so cheap and employees wanted it. Happens quite often.

I came in to find all of my usual skincare, Kaley helped me out and found a couple things I was having a hard time finding! She was really knowledgable on the products and help me find my usual favorites and some new fun products!

Made an appointment for Erin to do my boyfriend’s hair today who provided a picture of what he wanted. She cut it wayyy too short and not at all what the picture described. The curls are completely gone and it looks like an overgrown buzz cut. I’m sure she is great with women’s hair but do not go for men’s.

Kaley is simply AMAZING, I went to Sephora to get foundation and concealer was very disappointed the ladies got me more confused than I already am .. but at Ulta the minute I stepped in to this store everyone was welcoming and Kaley was very knowledgeable and patient to got me the right products didnt try to force me to buy other brands like some try to do she simply recommended other options so THANK YOU Kaley for going above and beyond to help me and others Btw "this is my first ever review"
