If I could give no stars I would. My boyfriend and I went into this location on Saturday, October 26th so he could buy my birthday present-Dolce and Gabbana perfume. We walked in, no one greeted us and we walked around the perfumes which had all testers locked up for over 10 minutes with employees all over the store and no offer of help. I walked and looked at everything, trying to decide if I wanted to try something else and no one ever came to help. We walked out, as a customer walked in, she was greeted warmly and again, nothing. We went to Sephora in Kohls on Falls of Neuse and were immediately helped and the girls even helped me try to find scents like the one I wear. I ended up with the same perfume and Sephora has gained a customer. I will never walk into an Ulta again.

I have been coming to Ulta for two years getting my hair done at the salon, wake forest location . I absolutely love Danyelle and Morgan, I am in customer service and they are awesome. If you say you want something from the store they go get it. So accommodating and helpful. I can’t say the same about the people on the floor. They are some very rude and will point at stuff instead of talking the time to truly help. The young lady with blonde hair, I believe she is a manager walks around with a frown on her face all the time. People in service should smile!

No variety for makeup pallets especially for darker tones. Very limited and picked through. Dirty samplers. Not up to ulta standards. Sorry for the bad review.

Real bad experience at the salon not natural hair friendly the lady hardly wanted to touch my hair only did one wash for about 10 seconds didn’t go around the edges or wash the nape of the hair just put a towel over once was done and didn’t wring the hair out.. hair was still dirty afterwards

Had a very odd experience at this location today 9/13. This isn’t my usual location thank God I was just in the area and wanted to check out some shades of foundation. I walked in around 11 store seemed very quiet. I was never greeted despite the woman at the register doing absolutely nothing. Within 2 minutes of being in the store a very sassy bald male associate checked a customer for not using the testers wands. Once I looked up at them standing right next to me he offered help to match me but I declined. We all went about our business. I kept browsing makeup and this same sassy employee walked passed me and went to another employee and attempted to whisper something all I heard was “that woman over there” but he was clearly talking trash about someone in the store that they both found hilarious. The same woman who’s was checked earlier by him confronted him about laughing at people was rude and she over heard the conversation he was having with the other associate and that she was very empathetic towards the persons feelings they kinda went back and forth about it of course the associate denied it. It was very unprofessional of the associate in my opinion. I felt uncomfortable to be there because who knows he was more than likely talking about me or the other customer because the store was empty. Just do yourself a favor find another store where people actually do what they get paid to do and not make customers feel awkward.

I stopped by today to purchased a few birthday gifts and left extremely disappointed! I understand there’s a lot of incidents of people stealing, but you CANT treat every customer like they’re thieves! And that’s exactly how an employee made me feel
Today. I asked to see a fragrance and at first she did not want to let me hold it, not sure if that’s a new policy and customers can’t touch merchandise they’re interested in purchasing. Will not be stopping at this location any longer.

Liliana was the most HELPFUL and WONDERFUL person ever. She provided above and beyond for me and made my night. She hand picked all the products I wanted and more and showed me how to use any of them. If I were Ulta I’d give her a raise ASAP, love her and will be coming back more often because of her

Absolutely goated staff. Have a date tn and walked in with gross scabs on my lip and they got that stuff covered and looking like nothing ever happened in legit 5 minutes. Cost me an arm and a leg but hey, what can ya do. Incredible work Lillian.

Went in yesterday and had someone very informative helping me pick out new items to try. It was almost 6 and they were closing by the time I finished. I was having trouble pulling up my e-gift card so I asked if I can put the items in my basket on hold and come back in the morning. I was told yes that fine. I gave them my name. I went back the very next morning at 10:30…they opened at 10. I was told oh yeah they must not have held them because they’re not where the holds usually are. They put all of my items back. I took a quick break at work to come get them and don’t have time to shop for the items again. Honestly I can’t even remember every single thing I had because the associate helping me brought over some items for me to try. Needless to say I left. There was no apology or anything. Just very nonchalantly said “oh yeah they must’ve put them back”. I hate that I have a gift card for them because I would’ve gladly have gone somewhere else.

I am a loyal customer to this location, I’ve never had a bad experience until today when the heavier set manager with black curly hair/ purple highlights gave me extreme attitude when asking if they price matched as the item I was purchasing was cheaper on the ulta website. Extremely upsetting being treating like this at a place I go to spend money in order to feel better :((

Leah here was a great help. She rook the time to find what I needed and was so very helpful and pleasant. The other staff were rude and condescending and offered no assistance at all. They all had no problem not helping a customer so they could go back to chitter chattering with their other co workers

They aren't very helpful so if your a makeup beginner and not looking forward to spending on MAC I'd advice to go somewhere else. I asked for some help picking out color that matched my skin tone and told them that i was a beginner guess where i was pointed to? the MAC section. After telling them that I'm a beginner and have a budget, i mentioned the brand elf and was told that they didn't know much about that brand. Apparently due to brands they couldn't help me match my skin tone and advice me on the basic needs for makeup beginners.
