The people that run this place are extremely rude, mean, ungrateful pieces of garbage. I DO NOT recommend this car shop for anything. Take your vehicle somewhere else that you trust. You cannot get your vehicle in or out of the parking lot. There is no room for that. They are not on time with their repairs. OVERPRICED. If you ask too many questions one of the workers there, I guess the second guy in charge will berate you and cuss you. Don't believe me? Read some of these other reviews about how ownership treats their customers. I wish I had read these before I even considered this shop. You can get way better quality work, cheaper, and get treated like a real human, a real customer somewhere else that actually cares about its customers.

Family owned business that has been in business at the same location for over 30 yrs.! Won't try to 'up sell' you a bunch of crap. Extremely honest and transparent. Old school repair shop where their hand shake and integrity means everything.

The best locally owned auto shop that I've ever done business with. They were recommended by a friend of mine and it's the only place I'll go for my auto work now. Locally owned and operated. Very personal, fair priced and does excellent work. You always know when work is done that it's done correctly and backed up if something goes wrong. Can't say enough about this place! Such a relief to find an auto shop that is this good. Highly recommend!

Let me tell the whole story. About 2 weeks ago I called Tobola at the recommendation of a friend of a friend. I had gotten a 3300, 2000 and 1900 quotes to fix my car (both front cv axles it's all wheel drive). When I talked to Robert, I told him what needed to be done and he typed on his computer (I could hear him) looked up parts and quoted me 1200. I was like sign me up when can you do it!? Let me tell the whole story. About 2 weeks ago I called Tobola at the recommendation of a friend of a friend. I had gotten a 3300, 2000 and 1900 quotes to fix my car (both front cv axles it's all wheel drive). When I talked to Robert, I told him what needed to be done and he typed on his computer (I could hear him) looked up parts and quoted me 1200. I was like sign me up when can you do it!? He said the coming Tuesday. I showed up early yesterday and dropped off my car. I did not reconfirm price but I had assumed it was the same. I got a Lyft home and waited until about 145 to call and check. He told 20 more minutes car would be done. I got my ride and went up there. He was out in the garage talking to an employee and told me he would be a couple of minutes. After standing there for 10 minutes he came in and said one more minute and went right back outside. Another three or four minutes later he finally came in with no apologies or anything . He sat down and his computer and did up my invoice printed it out and handed it to me and it was $1,750! I said you quoted me 1200 over the phone and immediately he said no I couldn't have done that basically accusing me of lying. I didn't just pull $1,200 out of my hat that's what I was quoted and he argued with me and finally I just said whatever just let me pay and give you my car so I can leave! Here for me that the parts were $1,000 I could have gotten them for $600 exact same parts brand and everything. I wasn't told that I could but then again because it was quoted at 1200 I wasn't worried about it! The car runs great it drives great now but I feel screwed I feel cheated and I feel lied to! They made you great work but I'll tell you what if you can't have peace of mind about a price then how can you trust someone. I will not be returning to this place because I think they're dishonest!

A+ service Fast and accurate diagnosis of issues. Exceptional execution to get back on the road safely. Have lived in raleigh 30 years. Found tobolas after aaa auto repair scammed my wife into work that did not need to be done. I asked the tow truck driver who the most honest garage was he had found in a 40 mile radius..he emphatically recommended tobola. Have been going there since even with my move clear across town. I have also had him find cars for me at auction. He finds sound vehicles at reasonable prices. The only place to get your mid or later model car inspected without the games commonly found at other garages.

I never went as far as actually getting my car worked on here because I got chewed out over the phone by the owner. I accidentally called them twice in a row and the second time he starts yelling into the phone "YOU JUST CALLED ME TWICE! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?? TO DO IT FOR FREE? YOU ARE WAISTING MY TIME--" and then I just hung up. I have never been yelled at like that. I am a polite person and would never evoke such a response. As a woman, I do not feel comfortable around men with tempers like this and I could tell he would not be kind if I were to go there. It was shocking and uncalled for.
