Absolutely love this school! The teachers are very engaged and caring for each child. My daughter learns so many new things each week. It gives me complete confidence that she will be prepared for kindergarten.

If I could rate this daycare lower I would. The school can't keep teachers. I don't know why but it must be because the pay is insufficient or management is oppressive. This is totally unacceptable based on the fees charged for admittance. We have heard that one family experienced a turnover of "teachers" so frequently that their child was uncomfortable going to school. Don't think that because the name is similar to the Goddard Space Station that your child will get that kind of education. The experience couldn't be further from the truth. It's not just education that's an issue but it's also quality of care. One child was so upset by the experience that the child had to wear clothes that were wet from pee until it had actually dried.This is a healthcare issue and needs to be reported to the NC Health Dept

Do not sign up unless you want to wait 3 plus years for your child to get in, if you're even that lucky. I've been on the waitlist since August of 2019 (6 months pregnant). After numerous attempts to get in contact with the directors, I finally learned that no spots for my child would open until September 2022. I'm not even the next person to get in. I understand no money back if I was a resident here but I am not. I'm active duty military and will be in a completely different state by that time. They still show no mercy and will not refund my waitlist deposit.

My child attended Goddard at Ridge Road from the time they opened 2.5 years ago (at age 2). They run a great program. The staff was always very responsive, creative with their curriculum and engagement activities, and truly cared about the well-being of the children in their care. Although things were a bit rocky at the start (turnover issues), we chalked that up to initial growing pains. Once the new Director Rachelle started with her Assistant Director Kristen, they've run a great program and always went the extra mile to ensure that there was a sense of community for both the children and the parents at the school. They put extra touches on things like holidays, celebrations, teacher appreciation, etc. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone who was looking for child care, and now that we are moving on to kindergarten, we'll miss the Goddard family.

The Goddard School at Ridge Road has set the bar high. I will be forever grateful for them for giving me the confidence to go back to work after having our daughter. She has been at Goddard since infancy and I never once worried whether or not she was in the best of hands. The teachers care so much and it shows. Charlotte has learned so much over the last two years and I'm so proud of her. Thank you Goddard! Highly recommend!

After relocating to Raleigh last Fall we needed a place for our son to go for PreK. Goddard did an excellent job getting him ready for Kindergarten. On top of it being a year where a Pandemic caused a lot of chaos we never felt or saw the school panic. Would recommend!

We have enjoyed our time at Goddard so much! The teachers and staff are the most warm and friendly group of people. They go above and beyond to make the school a true community. We are sad to leave and only have amazing things to say.

This school isn't just a daycare. This is a nurturing community for your child and the family. Our daughter started as an infant at 3 months and is still there today. As first time parents we were a little nervous about what to expect but were quickly put at ease. The staff is friendly, curtious, well planned and organized. Our daughter constantly comes home with crafts and a smile on her face. The teachers, Erika and Jessica, are great with the kids and always informative with the parents too, they even send multiple pictures of her daily and the lesson plans to us. They also host school wide events for parents to attend monthly and build a feeling of community around the school. I rest easy every day knowing our child is safe, learning, and happy. We immediately felt at home with the Ridge Rd Goddard and would recommend anyone bring their child there. It is worth every single penny!

My son Jimmy (1 yr) has been attending daycare here for 8 months and we've had a really positive experience with this Goddard School (at Ridge Road). The teachers are top notch - they are warm and doting and treat my son like their own. They've offered a lot of helpful tips and tidbits along the way. The staff/administration is also extremely friendly and helpful and always responds in a timely manner. Having met with other daycares in the area, I really appreciate the transparency Goddard has with their process and their willingness to accommodate you. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with smiles and a welcoming environment. I think every staff member in the building knows my son on a first name basis. Jimmy recently transitioned to the first steps room and it's been great to help develop a routine and schedule, he's taken well to it. The location is super convenient - it's easy to pop into Whole Foods to pickup dinner, or Brueggers for a morning bagel and coffee at the shopping center right across the street. The facility is also top notch. The building is only about a year half old and there isn't so much as a dust bunny on the floor. It's clean, bright, sunny and modern, and has a great play area out back. Last, but not least Goddard been great at throwing events for families and staff to mingle - we've met a lot of really great families. In sum, we are very pleased with our experience with Goddard!

An Ideal Goddard School!I would like to share my experience thus far for any parent who may be seeking a place that fits not only their needs, but also their wants from childcare. My daughter has recently enrolled at The Goddard School off of Ridge Rd. in Raleigh, NC and before she was enrolled, I had previously visited multiple 5-star daycares including other Goddard facilities. To my disappointment and sometimes shock, none of the 5-star facilities felt like they deserved that rating. Most were lacking in structured routines for the children, no educational disciplines, and utmost did not seem clean. I am a parent who has sacrificed 3 years to stay at home with my daughter due to these very issues. I did not want my daughter to attend any school where I would feel concerned after I left her.That is why when I found Goddard off of Ridge Rd., I was excited from the very first time I walked in. I noticed immediately the security at the front entrance before you enter the building, the pleasant greeting from the managers, and how neat and clean everything was around me. I briefly spoke with the owner before the tour and he was patient and answered all my questions, no matter how redundant. Ever since the tour and her first day, the school has been consistent with its cleanliness, it's professionalism, and its structure. Everything I hoped to find in a daycare, I have gratefully found in THIS Goddard School. I didn't enroll my daughter because of the well-known name that the school has, I enrolled her because this daycare lives up to a high standard, which for parents like me is central.My daughter had a rough start like all toddlers, but now she doesn't want to miss one day of school. She enjoys her classmates and teachers, and most importantly................ I don't worry about her when I leave... Im not worried. That is a wonderful thing to say as a parent!I hope to write another review next year with even more great stuff to say about this school. But so far, this school is exactly what all caring parents are looking for in a daycare.

We have loved our time at Goddard. You all have created a wonderful community with exceptional teachers and family-oriented events. Ms Jordan and Ms Tonya made our introduction to Goddard smooth and painless, taking extra care with Iney as she transitioned into school. Ms Ashland and Ms Jordan have been wonderful, as well, as Iney moved up a classroom. We have been grateful for you - Rachelle - and Kristen as we prep for a new baby and have millions of questions about school and raising little ones. Your openness and personalization has made Goddard warm and inclusive. Iney has benefitted tremendously from the structure and curriculum and we have seen huge gains in her understanding of the world around her in the last 6 months. We are excited to introduce another little one this coming fall, as well!

After searching for a long while on the best place to send our child we decided upon the Goddard school. We are so happy with our decision as it has put us at ease with the great teachers and facilitators on staff.
