I went to Fresh Market on Sunday June 9, 2024 to get some fresh hamburger. Going to make burgers for a cookout so I got a little over. 2 pounds of 80/20. I spent about 12.50 for the burger. A little while later I made burgers and my husband cooked them on our grill. He said it was the worst burger he had ever seen and asked if it was 20/80 instead of 80/20. It was so fatty. And the flames on the grill burned the hair on his arms. I don’t know what they used to ground the beef that day but it was mostly fat. Very very disappointed.

The meat was ok. The chicken breast slices were just split un-trimmed breasts. The pork chops were wonderfull. The real downfall was the attitude of the butcher on duty, not good at all.

This is the 3rd time I have gotten chicken wings and they were so dried out and not fit to eat. If its the end of the day you should not have sold them. Sad, Waste of my money. Lesson learned

Generally I’ve never had problems with TFM. I order online and pick my groceries up curbside. The past time I did this, I went to go eat my strawberries and there were worms in them. I recommend going shopping in person to ensure the quality of your produce.

The meat department at the Falls of Neuse location Never has what they advertise on sale! Guess how many Gourmet beef burgers they had on Saturday at 4p... none! The Weekend before on Sunday at noon...yep also No Gourmet beef burgers same story from meat counter... they are too busy to make any, but we can wait around for an hour for them to make some?. On the day bratwurst are on sale by 10am they have a miniscule selection compared to what they have on non sale days...really? The days ground beef is on sale... they will have about 1/2 lb of the ground beef that's on sale (yes, half a pound) ...but they will have a whole heaping tray of the ground beef that's Not on sale... feels like the classic ole bait and switch, doesn't it! Oh and you have to really watch the girl at meat counter at the Falls location, if you ask for 2 pork chops she likes to give you one giant one and one tiny one, she does the same with pieces of chicken making it Very difficult to cook those wildly different sized pieces of meat and have them done at that same time. It's no accident with her, because she's so consistent with it! I'm done with place and their games!

I deal with the higher prices because it’s down the street and convenient but after tonight I will NEVER come to this store again. I will drive further to Wegmans. I’m still in the parking lot writing this review! This is the second time in a row I’ve come here and the workers were just chatting away care free about gossip and personal business while refusing to serve guests. I had ONE item and when a cashier was asked to ring me she looked directly at me and my ONE item with a disdainful look and continued doing whatever she was doing….there were THREE ppl at the register and it took the one already working with another guest finishing before I could get checked out… mind you… with my ONE item….this is not the everyday experience however twice in a row , when I’m coming here often,is enough to be appalling when I could go to a store with better quality, variety and comparable prices (sometimes much lower price) by driving like 3/4 miles further.

Wide variery of produce, meats, seafood, prepared entrées, sides, and appetizers. Excellent selections of cheese, bakery items, beer, wine, and so very much more. Friendly and helpful staff. Always a great experience.
