I was searching everywhere for a certain bottle of wine they happened to have. I called the store and they were kind enough to rush ship it to me so it would reach me in time for an event for my wife. After issues on the shipping company’s end, and a late delivery, they spent a full month dealing with the shipping company to fully refund my shipping cost. Very grateful for their service and for how kind and personable Ben and team were throughout this. Thank you!

A great little wine and gas station. The have alcohol free gas for your boat or mower too.

Fine wine and live bait?! A pairing every bit as good as bacon and eggs, Bert and Ernie, and peas and carrots! Great shop, and extraordinary customer service. We placed an order from Denver, Colorado and the service was better than a Four Seasons (and they don't sell bait).

As always an awesome customer service experience at Taylor's Wine Shop. I have even had an incident when getting a propane refill that when I went inside to get some dog treats that the line was busy so I went back outside to walk my dog. While I was walking my Ben came outside to clean up some debris and I spoke with him which started a conversation at which point he reminded me that I had forgotten to pay for the propane. Well, needless to say, I was soooo embarrassed that I had not paid, and I probably wouldn't have paid before leaving after walking my dog had Ben not reminded me since I am sure that it would have slipped my mind. He did me a great justice by reminding me so that I wouldn't have been even more embarrassed if I had returned home and then realizing that I had forgotten to pay and therefore returning to pay. Thanks soooooo much for your looking out for your customer as well as your business.

Very customer oriented! Bought a bottle of wine, noticed at home when opened that it was corked… It happens. They took the wine back no questions asked and exchanged it for a bottle of slightly higher value!

Taylor's and the people there are amazing. Very knowledgeable but approachable. No wine snobs there! (Well, how could you if you have a superb wine shop at a gas station that also sells live bait?) Seriously, these folks know their wines and go out of their way to find me wines I have tasted elsewhere and want to buy.

Honestly, any place that can sell fishing bait, as well as have one of the best wine selections I have seen in North Carolina, it right up my alley, so of course Taylor's Wine Shop is perfect! While I did not check out the live bait selection this time, the wine portion was fantastic. Situated a stones throw off of 540 in Raleigh, this store is super convenient if you are driving through as I am often doing from the Triad to the Eastern part of the state. I had heard of Taylor's from a podcast, and finally made it into the store. The state was super friendly and was excited to be able to help me out with a few suggestions for a party I was going to! Just a great selection of things that are unique and the gentleman helping me knew about multiple bottles he showed me. Certainly go in and have a conversation with them and you may come out with something new you really enjoy! I will be returning when I am traveling 540 and I would be at Taylor's constantly if I lived in the area!!

By far the best place all around General store in wake county! Everyone inside is always professional, polite and very knowledgeable of the huge selection of wine they have! The only downfall about this place is that there is not more like it!
