I drive Uber and dropped my passenger off next-door at CVS. I decided to park and stretch my legs for a few minutes in this animal hospital’s parking lot. Promptly, they confronted me, asking me who I was. I politely told them I was just driving Uber and needed to rest for a minute, but they insisted I leave. This was on a Sunday when the parking lot was empty. I found it pretty rude to be so paranoid about someone using a parking spot for a few minutes. Would never board my animals here after this experience.

Do not take your animal to this vet. We took in a new cat recently that needed to be rehomed. She got her vaccinations a couple weeks ago and we left with directives from Dr. Gore to bring her back to get her spayed. We made the appointment and my husband dropped her off for the surgery. We received a phone call an hour and a half later explaining that when they shaved her before surgery they found a tattoo indicating that she had already been spayed. Then the receptionist proceeded to tell me that they “cut into her to make sure there wasn’t a uterus”. They did not have reason or consent to cut into an animal that was clearly marked with an indicator that she was already spayed. After getting extremely upset, Dr. Gore called me back and was extremely unprofessional claiming she has done this at least ten times before to confirm there wasn’t a uterus and that all ten times had proven that the markings were correct. It wasn’t their decision to perform a surgery that was 100% unnecessary. When I asked for a copy of the consent form for the surgery they said they never have people sign a form and did not read or show my husband the consent form. They then proceeded to hand me one that was written on stating “verbal consent”. Do not take your pets to this vet. I now have a cat with sutures and a cone who went under full anesthesia for no reason. Unbelievable.Edit to add: I finally got to take a closer look at my cats tummy and the incision. Not only is the tattoo completely visible, you can see that the new incision “to double check if the cat had a uterus” is on top of the scar from the initial incision and there’s a portion of the old scar CLEARLY VISIBLE where they cut into her again. THEY KNEW SHE WAS SPAYED.

Removed my previous review from a few years ago. I wouldn't personally recommend this vet.

Dr. Gore treated our cat for cancer and was there for him to the very end. She and her Staff are outstanding. We couldn't have chosen a better veterinarian.

Spring Forest Animal Hospital. I absolutely love this place. I brought in a feral (not feral) kitten to recieve shots and to be checked for worms. I couldn't keep him, though I brought him in my apartment quite a few times. I wanted to give him the best chance for life. I knew they would fall in love with "Pickles ". I told them that if they found a good home for him, they could keep him. A few hours later, I received a call from them. I was right. They wanted to keep him. Thank you so much for showing the compassion you showed me.

This facility came highly recommended to us and has lived up to the hype. Caring professionals made up the facilities work force.

The week of Thanksgiving last year I had a terrible family emergency that required me to go out of town at a moments notice. I called around everywhere locally and understandably everywhere was booked for the holiday. when i called Spring Forest I was so upset due to the circumstances and they were so kind and gracious and moved mountains to make room for my dog to stay for the week. I continue to bring my dog here and he LOVES everyone there!
