Shahla is amazing! I have gone to her for over 12 years and she always does an incredible job on my cut and color. She makes my highlights look natural as possible, it is a true art! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. She is also a wonderful person :) Highly recommend!

I have natural curly coarse hair and it us very difficult to find a stylist that is educated in how to cut and color process my hair. I am so grateful I found Shahla! She knows exactly what to do. I have been a client of Shahla's for 20 years and have never given thought to seek another hairstylist. I have curly hair that she cuts perfectly - every time. Not every hair stylist can cut curly hair correctly (as I learned the hard way from prior experience), and the highlights are always subtle and flattering. Shahla's approach is always honest and with a keen eye as to what does and does not look good. I have always trusted her spot-on judgment and have never been disappointed - she tells what you need to hear, not what you want to hear when it comes to what look is best for you. My husband, I may add, is also a very satisfied client and shares my sentiments. The other five-star reviewers' comments say the rest for me, as I am in complete agreement with their expanded comments. Having my hair done by Shahla is one of the highlights (excuse the pun!) and the most pleasant experience of my appointment schedule. I know that I am always going to get a great look and equally great and interesting conversation as a bonus. I highly recommend Shahla.

Very bad experience. The lady was poking and pulling my hair to explain what she cut ok my hair wasn't a bowl cut. My hair cut looked like someone put a bowl on my hair started cutting to the bowls shape.1. She uses layering scissors incorrectly.2. She doesn't understand english well and will make a mistake with every direction you give her.3. Her personality says that she is always right. Meaning you won't get what you want.4. She will defend that she is right by explaining how you can go take a blow dryer to fix your screwed up hair cut she gave you.5. Zero professionalism over the phone.Check the bad reviews not good reviews that her friend and her family gave it to her

Very nice lady and amazing at cutting hair. I came in with a mop of hair after not getting a haircut for almost 7 months because I didn't trust anyone in raleigh. I showed her a picture of how I wanted it and she was able to make it look even better than I thought it could look! Will definitely be coming here for all my haircuts

What a wonderful experience as I was visiting from Pennsylvania. Relaxing atmosphere where Shahla enjoys her trade and it showed when I looked in the mirror after my wash, haircut and blow out. Wish I lived closer but will remember the next time we are down to visit family.

Before Shahla, I went to many Hair Stylists and Colorists and often left in tears at how my hair turned out. Shahla is the best Colorist I have ever been to. She truly knows how to match your color with your skin tone so it looks natural. The color and highlights last longer and take less time in the salon than any previous experience I had.

Shahla knows color! I recently moved to Raleigh and dreaded finding a new hair dresser. Well I struck gold with Shahla. She did a great job and really knows what she is doing with color. Highly recommend.

Shahla takes a lot of care and pride with her clients hair styles. I have super straight, fine hair and she made it look fluffy and styled when it was shoulder length. Now, we do a pixie cut and I think we both have fun with that.

Shahla is a true artist when it comes to hair. She just fixed a horrible, cookie cutter haircut I just got two weeks ago. If you want a style that works with your hair type, fits your face and your personality, look no further. Furthermore, if you have thick or curly hair she can work wonders with it. There's nothing like being able to shake your hair out after washing it and not having to spend more than a few minutes on it to have it look good. That's a good haircut!
