Had a membership with this car wash for almost two years. Today Jim decided to close down an entire side of the vacuum area, which forced all of the vehicles coming in to park right on top of each other. I could understand that if there weren’t vehicles coming in to use the vacuum area but some cars backed out and left and more cars were continuing to come in. I asked if they could open up the other bays to accommodate everyone and give us some room to work on our vehicles. Jim got extremely belligerent with me and told me he would open up a bay and I could move my car to another bay. I had been working there with my floor mats and things out of my car for an hour, so why should I have to gather up all of my stuff to move somewhere else. He yelled at me and said nothing would make me happy. What I should have asked for was a refund for all of the monthly fees I have spent there for membership! What a jerk!! He said he closed down the cyclones every day at 5pm to clean the cyclone system. Well, when you have multiple cars coming in to use the facility at a whopping $20+ you would think the bays would be available. The Riptide is open till 9pm, so I am pretty sure the cyclone could have waited for a bit. I had been there an hour and only two cars had been in that bay. When I told Jim that the lady next to me hit my car he asked to see my car and see the damage. I told him I never said there was damage, but the lady beside me did hit my car door. I told him I would be leaving a Google review. He said, “Who cares. It’s just another review”. Common sense has escaped Jim. Unless there’s an imminent breakdown approaching on the cyclone system you don’t close off 9 bays and have dissatisfied customers. After exclusively using this car wash for almost 3 years we will never go back!! I resent being treated so rudely when all that I am doing is making a recommendation. Read the room Jim. You need to use better judgement and learn some common sense. I have photos of the full spaces and blocked off bays, but I cannot post them on Google. And by the way, we pretty much stopped going there because the rollers in their conveyer were scratching our rims. Don’t go to Riptide between 5-6 because only half of the vacuums/detailing area are available.

I stopped there to get a one time wash and the attendant convinced me to get a $19.99 package and get 2 washes within the month. I got a wash that same day and came back for another wash within the month thinking the wash was covered by the initial $19.99. But no, they billed my card another $19.99. I tried to look for a number to call and let them know but there was none so I let it go. Another month went by and they charged another $34.99 without me even going to the car wash. I am still not able to get a number to contact them and I am furious that's why I am writing this review. This was at the Raleigh location. I am hoping to get a response.

Fun place, easy to get the job done w plenty of space, got everything I need to keep my car in good shape at a fair price. This is also in a complex w/ some great restaurants and a nail salon. Thanks!
