Unprofessional. Horrible customer service. Stay away!!! I was litterally called Disgusting for calling in to dispute a double payment charged for my computer. So it's ok when they call to harass you god forbid you miss a payment but you also get told off for calling about an over payment.

This review is for the rent a center location on 11216 Capital Blvd Wake Forest, NC. One star is way too generous. My husband was laid off of his job which did cause me to pay some payments late, but I did always make my payment each month. I was NEVER more than a month behind EVER. Ive never been so harassed by phone calls, texting, and in person visits to my home as late as 910pm. This company sent people to my home 3 times in one day. I know me being late with a payment is my fault and I own that. I called or texted every time I was late but that didn't matter. The quality of their merchandise is questionable at best. I will never use this company again. I caution EVERYONE, if you can go to Aaron's or ANY other company, please do. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau, the NC Attorney General and the Rent a Center corporation ( where no one answers the phone and no one returns a message). The two names that stick out to me being unusually unprofessional are Crystal and Michael D.

Absolute trash. First, the employee’s here are the biggest POS’s I’ve ever met in my life. At first they were nice to me, then after I purchased a couch they did not help at all. I messaged them and called MULTIPLE times about dirty marks and rips on the couch that was supposedly “professionally cleaned”. I bought a couch that had an outlet for charging phones that I was ASSURED worked “perfectly”. When I got home, the outlets did not work at all. They ignored me EVERY time. I was told when I first purchased the couch that I would end up paying about $900 once all my payments were completed. I did the math and I ended up paying almost $1700. For a DIRTY couch. I did not see the marks on it when I was in store due to the way they strategically staged the couch. I believe the employee’s name was Daniel, and he refused to help. I told them I wouldn’t make another payment until it was cleaned, so they contacted my MOTHER who was a reference number and basically asked HER to make the payment. Just absolutely disgusting horrible people. I did NOT have autopay set up EVER, so when I did not make a payment due to being ignored, they went ahead and charged my card anyway without ANY authorization. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE PLEASE.

Terrible customer service. DO NOT RENT FROM THOS LOCATION. They are understaffed and will cancel your order on your delivery day. I was told because the manger is on vacation and the couch I chose was white I wouldn’t be able to receive my couch on the agreed delivery date.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE..THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF..Worst establishment I have ever dealt with.. everyone on here is correct.. one employee called me the N word and I'm white by the way.. they threatened me with a felony when my product that was way over priced was returned.. they wouldn't call the store that picked it up.. instead they want to harass me and threaten me..

Let's talk about the people you need upon walking into this store. Daniel, Antonio, & Richard. Ask for these people specifically!Allow me go explain why I am impressed and pleased with this location.I have never leased from Rent A Center, I've always used Aarons, well this time I didn't find anything I liked with Aarons, so I figured, what the heck.. Let's try RAC. I started off my lease online at the 3901 Capital Blvd location.Complete worst 3 weeks of my life when it comes to dealing with people. Each and every person I spoke to at that location would say they would assist, I would call back 24 hours later and get no additional support. I leased a dining room set and was not satisfied. I called them back 24 hours later asking them to pick it up, long story short they NEVER picked it up. 3 WEEKS OF BACK AND FORTH. I had to personally call Daniel at this location 4550 Capital and explain my situation to him. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND, same day he called me at around 7pm (after the store was closed) and told me he had made arrangements with the other location to take over the ugly table I had for 3 weeks and lease a new one I was pleased with. I was sooo appreciative. He sent his men out the next day! They (Richard and Antonio) showed up on time and picked up the dining room set, quickly replaced it with the new set. The men wiped down the set when placing it in my home!! I am just in awe, Daniel literally put in the extra effort with me! I was so tired of that other location, I explained to Daniel I was ready to drop the table off the next day MYSELF! He and his Crew were awesome!! Thanks Guys!!!

As others have stated over the years this place is horrible they harass you and are very unprofessional. I will never rent with this location again I had to call corporate and file a complaint on the staff and the treatment I received. They need to be shut down. Life happens and instead of understanding and being customer focused they intimidate you and make you feel less than bc you are behind. They don’t deserve any stars at all.
