“I made a mistake with one digit in the zip code and the package ended up being delivered twice to Raleigh and then sent back to New York, only to be shipped back across the ocean again. Having lost hope for a successful delivery, I requested assistance and everything was sorted out within just an hour. I'm so grateful for the help from the staff!”
“Ive had a PO BOX at this location for easily 20+ years. The ladies that work there are simply the best! Yes, the parking can be tricky at times but an easy fix for that is just don't go during lunch hours. Keep up the good work and awesome customer service ladies! Thx ?”
“Sonny is a gem and always helpful in finding the best method to get a package to its location. A wealth of knowledge on the neighborhood and efficient at his job! Yes, they close at lunch, but postal workers need to eat too. Just plan accordingly and drop by before noon or after 1 p.m.”
“It is open. Counter 9-5 M-F. Very helpful staff. Last visit I mistakenly filled a label for next day, $60, clerk insisted I do another for $15 2-3 days. Yes understaffed, for all the hate for Trump, he appointed Louis De Loy who thankfully kept his job, things are turning around. As in parcels delivered on Sunday. As for others who compared it a Food Lion checkout, yeah sometimes. Welcome to NC.”
“This morning, when I was determining which USPS office I wanted to go, to I looked up the various ratings of those on ky way to work, I was already having a challenging day and did not want to deal with the attitude I sometimes encounter folks behind the counter. This post office had the highest rating so I selected it, and I was pleased. In fact I left in a better mood than I arrived in. The woman behind the counter was friendly, courteous, and helpful. I appreciate that.”
“I've been to this post office several times and have had nothing but good interactions with the staff here. They are kind and friendly. The negative reviews by others might be due to the customer coming in with a bad attitude to start with.”
“It's not "old." It's "classic." This is what city center post offices look like and it definitely gets the job done. No, they don't have one of those automated weighing vending machines, which would be awesome. And they definitely open at 9am because I was here at 8:45 and had to come back later, which I did. The clerk who accepted my package (over 13 ounces or I would have dropped it in a box) was friendly and smiled. What more do you need? [Review 11666 overall, 1448 of 2019.]”
“Literally the best post office experience ever. I was so nervous about the other reviews, but it seems like this place has taken those comments to heart and now goes above and beyond! There was even an additional employee in the waiting area helping people get their things prepared.”
“Best post office experience I have ever had- I went on one of the busiest days of the year and the process went so smoothly. All their packaging supplies were accessible and stocked. Clerks were super kind and helpful. Not sure why this location has negative reviews, it was a really positive experience for me.”
“I have a big and heavy package to return.
Lisa the staff who works here she is very nice and helpful to try to help me to take my package .
Thank you so much Lisa.
Iam really appreciate what you do for me today.”
“I didn’t get her name but I wish I did, whoever is working 9/12/23 at 2:00pm is an actual angel! So thankful and so grateful to have been helped by her, she truly helped my family and I so much today. Tears of joy god bless her”
“Ms. Rugina helped me locate a package today that had weird updates on the tracking. I was here 20-30 minutes and she really went above and beyond to help me locate this package and even called the driver. Then called him back to make sure it was with him and would be delivered, I am so so grateful for her help. -Tasha B.”
“Service is good if you’re able to find it (around back of a church) and make it when they’re open (9-12 and 1-4 M-F). It is on a bus line (Route 16).
No post offices inside the beltline seem to be open on saturdays or have self-service kiosks, either of those would help those of us who live and work here tremendously!”
