The experience from delivery to pick-up was fine, but the price quoted initially was not the final price... there was some sort of price change that happened online every time I moved from the quote to the final payment screen. The quote seemed great, the final cost was way too much, but I was in a time crunch, so I bit the bullet.

I am not a PODS user; however, my former tenants are and they have left the PODS illegally parked at my townhouse for over two weeks now. When I called PODS, I was told that I couldn't have it moved. Since it was in the name of my former tenant, I had to contact her first. After several tries , we haven't been able to contact her. SO IT SITS!! Frustrated and will try calling PODS again tomorrow. Police have been notified; I have to file trespass charges with pictures of her on my property.

While the storage idea, the containers, and PODzilla are awesome, the customer experience around all that is awful. The website is difficult to use, is offline too much, and fails to provide what a customer needs. The chat and phone options are often useless, as back-end systems are unavailable, information is limited, and questions have no answers. Communications (text and email) are often missing or wrong, such as telling me to prepare for a delivery tomorrow that was rescheduled for a week away.

Called to schedule pod re-delivery and was prompted to use the text support to get faster response times. Great, I promptly sent the text help my info and thought everything was scheduled as the representative said we were almost done and then sent a message that appeared to be a canned response when you disconnect a chat i.e thank you for being a customer, text help whenever you need more help. But come the day before the delivery and I hadn't received a delivery window. So I called back and turns out my pod hadn't left my original city. It was two weeks until it could be delivered, costing me and my family who had traveled to help unload the pod several days of travel and cost to have movers now that I had no unloading help. Top it off with customer service completely ignoring my two requests for expediting and or a credit for their poor service. Would not recommend anyone use pods unless they don't care about when they finally get around to getting you your stuff back.

It was an easy process and great value. The contactless delivery and pickup were awesome. Kept my items stored and dry until ready to use. Best option for storage on site!

I have used this company many times in the past without complaint and recommended them to many others. This time they damaged my ornamental tree both during drop off and pickup. There was more than adequate space to place the pod without damage to any landscape items.(over twice the width of the pod) I will use another company in the future.

The unit was clean, solid, and in good shape. Arrived on time and picked up seamlessly. Be careful to arrange for any needed permits if you can't place the POD on your property!

We ordered a POD to complete a move. Within a couple of days we started seeing large Roaches come out of the Pod before we started loading the Pod. They began entering our garage. We had to call Pest control because we were selling our home. We called Pods to let them know we are canceling the service due to the roaches. The customer service was the worst we have received from any company. The customer service reps for complaints did nothing. They refused to refund any portion of the fees and are charging us for services they did not provide. They picked up the Pod a week after we called. DO NOT USE PODS if you don’t want a roach infestation, they will not care in the least.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I have used PODS for years but this will be the last time. The people in customer service are of no help. Every time I call, it is 60-90 minutes on hold or waiting for a call back. When they came to pick up the filled POD, the driver was 2 hours late and said there was a car in the way and left. Normally the driver would call with their itnenery or if there was an issue but no call. The POD was picked up 2 days later and they didn't work with me on a new delivery date. I spent 4 days working out a new delivery date. I was told it would now be Monday July 3rd. An hour later I checked online and it says Saturday July 8th. I have now lost the movers I had scheduled. On hold for an hour this far AGAIN!! The company has gone down hill. DO NOT USE!!!

We had an excellent first experience with PODS. The container was so clean, the placement on our driveway was excellent with minimal yard disruption (we have a narrow drive), the communication about deliveries and pickups was spot on, and the online billing made everything easy. I would definitely do PODS again and will tell everyone I know about them. After telling clients about them for years, I now have personal experience and can say "HIGHLY recommend".

Probably good for short, one stop moves. Other than that it gets confusing for them. Beware of quotes good only for about 5-7 days. Drivers are professional.

I set up my move through PODS recently- they were going to pick up our things, store them for a couple of months while we sold our current house, and then move them to our new house out of state. They just informed me today, 2-1/2 weeks before they were scheduled to arrive, that our new house is "not in their service area," forcing me to find another option at the last minute. I have never heard of any company that purports to do long-distance moves saying that they only move to certain areas. That is a terrible way to do business, but if you're going to continue that way, the least you could do is inform people that you only move to certain areas.Would give them negative stars if I could, and will never consider using them again. Buyer beware.

Super rude customer service. The guy sounded like he was driving on the other end. I can’t really hear him. Let alone he was rushing to end the conversation and keep telling me that the price is half of what other moving companies are offering, which is not true. The whole conversation was rushed, he can’t wait to get rid of me after sensing that I’m not moving forward with scheduling. I will not recommend this to anyone if I can’t even get a decent person to talk to in the beginning.For ppl that are wondering, a large container cost about $2800 after the promotion code. It does not come with movers, they will provide you moving companies that they work with, and you’ll have to call and schedule your own movers. This approach is fine, but the total cost at the end would be about $3500-$4000, which is similar to what other full service moving companies are quoting me. Nothing against POD’s price and services, just the customer service was terrible.

the worst customer service ever, reps kept hanging up in my face and one told me that he would make me hang up and call back because he refused to transfer me to another agent and hung up in my face. I am a previous customer and the disrespect shown to me was unbelievable. Still sent to me a final quote even though I did not tell him what I wanted. Lied to me about my quote, they refused to give me corporate phone number or allowed me to speak with a manager and just kept hanging up in my face.

This was a very smooth process from the initial set up phone call to delivery, pick up and delivery to new house, and final pick up. I was notified via text and email each step of the way. I was able to control the dates of pick up and delivery. It worked out better than I imagined using PODS for our recent move!
