Newly moved to Raleigh I was looking for a thorough and highly recommended groomer who didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Planet Poochie came recommended to me and ended up being very convenient to I-540. My sweet Snorkie Asher came home looking like a brand new man. Thank you guys again!

I am always highly pleased when I pick up my fur baby. Most of my immediate family use Planet Poochie because they do such a fabulous job of loving on our pets and making them look so good!

While they do a decent job with the groom, they cancel or double book and have limited options for rebooking. Sometimes it takes days to hear back after they cancel. On our last (rescheduled visit), when I waited weeks longer than expected due to their mishap, they told me I clearly never brushed my Westie and he was too “matted” so he’d have to be shaved. As someone who’s always had dogs and treats them like children, this was very insulting and hurtful. I don’t brush him daily, but this was 3 days after I’d bathed, conditioned, and brushed out his entire coat. He’s gone to several groomers in his 15 years and I’ve never been told his fur was matted or that he needed shaving. He was a bushy mop who’d never been groomed when I got him, but even then the groomers took the time to make him look handsome without shaving. Luckily, after this insulting encounter, my vet was able to recommend someone who got him in immediately.

We were first time visitors at Planet Poochie and our experience was great. My dog feels so soft and smells great. The owner was very communicative and my dog was ready within the time frame she specified. We will be back!

Took my baby here for the first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's like a spa for dogs, my dog is not a fan of grooming but he didn't lay down before walking in like he normally does. I like the extras they offer, such as the treatment for teeth and breath, and the blueberry facial. I will definitely return! And they did a great job!

This is by far the best place to go. Planet Poochie is clean and our dogs do not fear going in. Only place we will go to get there nails and teeth done. Have already recommended to many people.

I have a very temperamental dog who normally hates being groomed and then I have one that acts like she's going to the spa this groomer is completely amazing she loves dogs unconditionally I could not recommend this more ... The temperamental one comes back unstressed and of course the one that loves the spa comes back completely full of fun

My anxious pup was groomed here for the first time today. I’ve never seen her so happy and not stressed out after leaving a groomer! The staff was so kind, and they did an amazing job in a timely manner. They went over everything they did to her when I picked up, and even offered to fix anything if I didn’t like something (did not need to). On top of everything, the prices were very reasonable! These awesome ladies definitely have my business and I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs a new groomer :)

Once upon a time we were attempting to groom our dogs Gabby(half Maltese, half poodle) and Izzy (a full-blooded Shih Tzu).. it was a nightmare. Our poor puppies never looked so bad. Since we began going to Planet Poochie about 2 years ago or so, our dogs always look good. Kiervi’s business has grown exponentially. She’s earned it too. Our dogs are happy to go, Izzy could not be more excited on the ride over to the groomers. Gabby tends to be a nervous and anxious dog, and we would not trust anyone with her, but planet poochie makes our dogs comfortable and happy. And that’s what matters. They always smell good, they’re fluffy, and super cute! She genuinely cares for animals and listens to our request for our girls. She always makes time to get us into the schedule before the holidays and I’m sure we will remain long term customers for years to come.
