I love this bank. I received a commercial loan at the Raleigh TowneBank branch and had such a great experience. Every step of the way was so personalized. Quick approval time, emails daily with updates, fast closing. Caityln the branch manager is so efficient. She was always one step ahead of the loan process and went above and beyond for me. She even answered emails on her vacation. If you are a small business owner I highly recommend using TowneBank...they definitely cater to us little guys unlike the big banks. Thanks again to all the Townebank employees.

Very poor experience to say the least. I walked in to cash a check, they verified legitimacy of the check in front of me and other customers. When it came back 100% legitimate they wouldn't cash it and forced me to take a cashier's check for the amount. All-in-all just extremely unprofessional, do business elsewhere!!

They incorporated a new website Monday 10-22-18 and it is the worst update I've ever seen. They went from a ergonomic, customer friendly interface to an awful report generating confusing mess that is neither new nor improved. I can only imagine the backlash this will generate for the commercial banking business they have.

Some of my associations work with this bank. They are always super friendly (the tellers and other staff), quick to respond to E-mails and you can have meetings in their conference room and training rooms for free if you bank with them. They will also come pick up deposits if you're located in Wake County.
