my 91 year old mother moved into our home last Friday - we purchased an Acorn stair lift and it has not worked properly since we had it installed 1 week ago. I call customer service only to be told that I am 12th in line, then when it gets down to the 4th person in line, it either hangs up on me or asks me to leave a voice mail. The tech came by today, told me it was fixed, said he just had to tweak a wire. it worked fine when he was here and then the minute we needed it to bring my mom downstairs it doesn't work again. Same error codes. Terribly dangerous for my mom.

Get Everything In Writing!! Orthopedic Services was hired to do a roll in shower modification in our master bath via Innovations Waiver program. After initially talking to them everything seemed fine. I told them I had a few requests and they agreed those requests were reasonable. After they started the demo they didn't want to honor our agreement and my initial request. They were argumentative, they didn't want to answer Any questions. They actually told me "you'll see what it looks like when we're finished". After two weeks on the job, I fired them for substandard work. The floor tile they layed was incorrect. The framing they did for a new wall was out of plumb and not square. Their plumber left the new plumbing line open and raw sewage was running out underneath the house. They just wanted to turn a quick buck and leave asap and their work reflected that.

Grateful for Mike Buchannan, and two tech Arron & Andy for a Stellar job they did for me. coming home from hospital, and a competitor saying i needed to buy a new stair lift part not available any longer, when they had the circuit board in stock, Mike to the rescue Ordered part needed and had it in a few days, The Honesty, Integrity, compassion, shown to me in my time of need saving me thousands of dollars. need to Shares tis far & wide. I was truly blessed finding them.

Mike Buchanan was a fantastic resource person and facilitator in getting the equipment we needed for my dad's safety and comfort. He demystified the whole process and made it so easy! He was patient and provided clear answers to our many questions. Andy and Kurtis were kind, patient and professional with the installation completing the process with the same ease! We are so happy we used Orthopedic Service Company and would definitely do the same for any future needs!

This is not Arielle Daughtry. She has used my computer in the past. I am Peggie C. Timberlake for Larry Blassingame. Several months back your company installed an outdoor wheelchair lift for Larry. The lift is a God send. I am writing to comment on the gentlemen who did the installation. I use the word gentlemen because that is how they conducted themselves. They were professional, respectful of my property and efficient. When their supervisor, Mr. Buchanan, stopped by their demeanor, nor their conversations, did not change because it did not have to change. In talking with Mr. Buchanan I readily understand why he is respected by the employees. He gives respect and it is returned. I wanted to write this when the lift was installed but did not understand fully how to get into this sight. A tech stopped by this morning because we had a slight problem and he gladly showed me what to do. Your company should be very proud to have such wonderful employees.

Yooo please look this over and tell me what When I look at people I look at the whole person and the situation that they may be in. I also know that more so especially handicapped people I try in every way to accommodate them to the best of my ability. Like for instance I saw a client looking to get a haircut and I took my clippers outside the shop and cut his hair because he had a specific need. I go into this place and I couldn't believe it for me it was like a handicapped haven for people with special needs (like myself) then I asked for a simple replacement piece for me to be able to drive experiencing freedom again (driving knob) and Wow to my surprise I 1st was met with an outrageous price for the knob and installation that cost a whole lot less elsewhere without the issues of liability (on the internet and tractor store) but then I was told that they could not sell it to me because of liability issues (am I not handicapped) and is there a law that says handicapped people can't drive or equip themselves with a good product to help their situation not hinder it. Idk maybe it's just me but I'd rather go to another state than to ever deal with these people again thanks for nothing.....

OSC was the best decision I could have made. The price was reasonable, installation was fast, installers were friendly, kind, and extremely courteous. Now I have the ability to bring my wife home and get her in the house without the use of a ramp, the price of which was more than the cost of this vertical lift.

MADE THE IMPOSSIBLE HAPPEN by agreeing to complete a turn-key job in four days...just before Mom in her wheel chair arrives for the holidays. The PVI ramp is excellent quality and the two installers, Andy and Terry did an excellent job getting it assembled and secured to the deck. Could not be happier.

I can not say enough about Tracy. She had the phone forwarded on her day off after Thanksgiving. My dads legs just gave up on him just this week over the holiday and we were having to move him everywhere he went. Bathroom, chair, table, bed and he's a big man so it was taking a toll on everyone. I was desperately searching for a tool to help with these task searching online and calling every one I could find. I called and she answered every question and listened to my needs and met everyone. I was so grateful I tried to tip her and she would not accept it, she was just as happy as I was that she could help. OSC you should be proud to have her as your employee, this customer service and caring is what makes a business great. 5 star is not enough.

My family would like to thank Orthopedic Service Co, specifically, Mike Buchanan (salesperson) and Andy Steiner (service tech) for the excellent service that was provided for the purchase and installation of a stair lift. The compassion, experience and attention to detail was above and beyond expectation. The process from the initial request for info and pricing to the installation and competed job was very efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this company.

I can't tell you enough how blessed I am to be a customer of Orthopedic Service Company and Van Products! I have been going there for 45 years (since age 8) and they have provided me with excellent sales and service on my braces, crutches, wheelchairs, portable ramps, car hand controls and Braun Chair Topper (wheelchair carrier) since day one. Since the days of Mr. Bill Wendt, Sr. (Founder) to Mr. Tim Harrell (current owner), the entire staff could not be any nicer and helpful. They treat all of their customers as Priority One! We recently had a porch lift and landing designed by Orthopedic Service Co. for my husband. It has made so much easier for Ivey to enter our home since the lift was installed. We want to personally thank Mike Buchanan ( Sales Rep ) for coming up with the plans for the new stairway landing to accommodate the porch lift in our garage and Andy Steiner ( Service Tech) for his precise installation of the lift.
