My car broke down near this shop, and I went in to ask for help. One of the staff members immediately offered assistance without hesitation. After hearing the symptoms, he suspected a battery issue and came over to my car with a few testers. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I was incredibly lucky to have found them, and I truly appreciate their excellent service!

Thomas up front was annoyed that I came in asking for a part number instead of the year name and model. The driveshaft on my truck isn’t stock and uses 1310 series u-joints, so I gave them the spicer part number instead. He had trouble finding it and seemed offended when I asked if I could just check their u-joint stock saying “no way you’re looking through my stuff”. This egotistical prick said they didn’t have the part in stock (even though online said they did) and sent me to another store. Got to the High House location and got the part I needed, they seemed okay with letting me search by part number and even let me go find the part in the back since there’s a couple variations.
The kicker here is I told the guys at high House about my experience and they referenced Thomas by name and exclaimed how often people come in to their store after having poor experiences with this man. We also checked stock at the Chapel Hill drive store and confirmed they had the part I was searching for. This man made my life exponentially harder and wasted my time and money. I’ll never spend another dime in the Chapel Hill store.

Dear oreily staff my name is Mohammed i am one of your regular customers for almost 6 years i call yesterday the store at chapel hill rd to get a main engine belt for my wife car Toyota corolla 2005 CE it’s old car i was asking the front desk over the phone he put me on hold for 8 minutes i decided to to hang up and call again a lady told me they have average of $29 and $34 i told i am coming to get the $29 one then when i arrived to the store she is talking yo me in very rough language no patience i recognize that i talk to wrong person i told her show me the brands and price on screen she grab the $29 one i checked the belt groved its not fit on my wife car i asked her to bring the $34 she said we don’t have it i asked while i am looking on screen to bring me $42 one she said we dont have it in stock she said i can ordered for tomorrow i couldn’t wait for another day car is broken she bring me the one for $48 before tax i cant afford this expensive one while i am talking to her she change her attitude show no respect i told her you probably had a bad day then she blow out and call thomas next to her and pretend that i told her she don’t know how to do this job which is not truth my son was with me i told her you need to change your attitude with customer then she start asculate her behavior become a fighter thomas told her i take care of that ,what’s make me wondering that she switched to next desk help other customer she was treating him very nice and polite my son told me dad look how she is talking to the other customer now which she should be like that and that’s hurt my feelings that I not belong to this store anymore i decided to cancel the deal and leave the skinny black lady probably didn’t like me because of my accent,to whom it may concern are you trying to kick your customers or serve them with good appearance??

Car was overheating and stopped by. Trip came out and worked for just a minute and fixed the problem. If you’re there, ask for Trip, and let the guy know you appreciate his courtesy!

Quite possibly the worst experience ever at an auto part store. While we were getting our battery tested the employee had in AirPods and was in a completely different conversation rather than talking/helping us. At least hang up the phone call for a little bit. Also nobody at the store knew how install a new battery. How you gonna work at an auto parts store and not know how to install a battery. Don’t go here if you actually have something wrong with your car.
