I called Automan - Perry answered. I'd never met him. He quoted me an honest and fair price, and told me to just get the vehicle to him and he would take care of it.

“Writing this review because I think it's important to recognize when you come across a business that is honest & high-integrity. I recently brought a car to Tommy and his team because it wouldn't start. They worked on it for nearly a week, trying various things including replacing the throttle body, and (eventually) realized the issue was very simple-- it was the key. We tried my spare key and it started right up. (Apparently a malfunctioning transponder in the key can prevent the car from starting, but the expected security light on the dashboard wasn't coming on.) Now here's the surprising part -- Tommy waived the vast majority of the charges, so my cost was a fraction of what it might have been. (He even offered to waive 100% of charges if I wanted him to.) I was shocked, and really thankful. I will definitely use and recommend this shop in the future.”

“Russell and his team were absolutely FABULOUS! I came for an oil change and had questions about an inspection. They informed me (at no cost to me, by the way) what I would need to pass my inspection. Russell offered me a plethora of recommendations and options for getting my inspection cleared when I’m ready. Honorable mention: my oil change was just over $50 - which was at least $20-30 less than I expected to pay. All in all, A WONDERFUL experience! Thank you Russell!!!!”

“Love these guys. They’ve always done a great job changing oil (and all the other junk that goes along with it) and yearly inspections. But what I’ve loved the most is the honesty and tips they’ve given me.
One tech told me that if I just needed a straight oil change that the dealership would be cheaper since they’re buying the kind I need in bulk, but their filters are less expensive so a total change would be approximately the same. I checked the next time I went to the dealership for service, and lo and behold the tech was right. I greatly appreciated that.
And recently a tech told me about a kiosk at a specific Harris teeter where you could immediately print off your new registration after an inspection for a little extra money. I never would have known otherwise.
So yeah, I like these guys and will continue to go when my car needs basic service.”

“I have taken my vehicles here for many years and follow their recommendations for maintenance. I sell my vehicles at 200k+ miles for cosmetic reasons, but mechanically - I really have not had trouble with them. I think the reason is Bayleaf has done a good job taking care of my vehicles.
Except once during covid when getting parts were an issue, appointments have always gone very smoothly. Overall I recommend them highly.”

“If your cabin air filter is located behind your vehicles glove compartment, be aware the technician may access this area without your authorization. If you keep personal items or a firearm there, LOCK the access so you have to give authorization for inspection.
The tech inspected the filter and left items in the floorboard, passenger seat and crammed the rest back into the compartment.
Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.”
