Duke Energy has also retired more than 7,500 megawatts of energy from coal-fired units since 2010, but still operates a system of generating plants fueled by oil or natural gas to supplement the power supply during peak times. Duke Energy has set ambitious climate goals, including cutting carbon dioxide emissions from generation in half by 2030 and targeting net-zero by 2050. The company has also invested in natural gas and renewable energy sources, and targets net-zero methane emissions for its natural gas distribution business by 2030.

We are receiving so many mailers from this foundation. When asked to be taken off their list they require codes and will only remove you from one mailing list when there are 15 different ones coming. Finally found a number to a human with who's people skills are lacking in every way.
