Amazing customer service. Honest and trustworthy people. I’ve been to many mechanics and have been price gauged and told my vehicle needed repairs that were unnecessary. These folks are friendly, no frills, and down-to-earth.
This place is super busy and popular for a reason. I won’t take my car anywhere else.

Can’t recommend this place enough! I’ve been going to Tommy since I moved to Raleigh and always have the best experience. I’ve tried a few other places in the area but can’t beat the service here. They’ve got fair pricing, are always efficient, and are great people to work with.

I called in the morning around 8:06am, and they had my car fixed by 8:45am. Just a very traditional, no frills, no unnecessary processes, down to earth honest business. You don’t see many mechanic shops of that nature these days. I will definitely be coming back

I went to this shop after I got a used Car Mustang 2008 v6. I went in and asked I want to do inspection and want to get a quote as well for a lean code fixing. Tommy told leave car here and I will get it fixed. I went home then he called me and told it needs a fuel filter and a MAF sensor and the total will be 336$. I am a student and I found that is too expensive but I thought of getting it fixed so told him to go ahead. I took the car did get it registered and was driving 2-3 miles a day to NC state from my place until a month later the check engine light came back and I went again to him his shop was closed once next time I met him, he told we have to inspect it and it might be the fuel pump might be the sensors or the pressure regulator. How can you change the MAF sensor which was 169$ you charged me for and the fuel filter 29$ you charged me. I did not get it more inspected and thought of working by my own on the car. Overtime I got a toolkit as I am a Mechanical Engineering Student I tried to fix it changed the fuel pump, regulator, and more cleaned injectors. Until I found the parts Tommy put in my car were not genuine but he charged for genuine price. The MAF was charged 169$ which is not original and is priced at 18$ at amazon, the fuel filter was no brand and charged 29$ for it. I got a new Bosch filter from amazon for 18$. I am really pissed off by this scam which I went through and I am going to file a BBB complaint about this matter. I do have the receipt and the parts which he put on with me.

I came in from out of town with a very random repair need on a Friday afternoon. The guys fabricated a fix the next morning and got me on my way. Their charges were amazingly reasonable. I appreciate them fitting me in so I was not trapped hours from home for days on end!

Mission Valley is the best service station in Raleigh! As an out-of-state student, I was looking for somewhere trustworthy. Auto shops sometimes exploit young women by upselling unnecessary repairs or services, assuming we may have less knowledge about vehicle maintenance. This was never a problem at Mission Valley. The staff are communicative and considerate. It is clear how knowledgable they are, as well. They answered any questions I had with ease and serviced my car in a timely manner. This, in combination with the down-to-earth atmosphere, made me feel immediately comfortable. I didn't have to worry that they were looking to take advantage of my business. Overall, I felt like both my car and myself as a person were in good hands. For anyone, but especially those in a similar situation to me, look no further than Mission Valley!

My check engine light had been on for months. I knew it was just the sensor until my car started acting up so I brought my car to Tommy as he had such raving reviews online, and from personal friends. I dropped off my car and left. About 30 minutes later I get a call saying the light turned off and the codes were cleared, and to come pick it up. Extremely suspicious... I know the light and codes don't clear on their own. It could be just my luck that something happened the second I got there. OR, someone at this shop cleared my codes and pretended they didn't. I ended up using my own code reader and bought the parts, we'll replace them ourselves since it was a relatively easy fix. Next time I might give Tommy another chance, just in case it was a freak thing. But I do recommend reading the codes first and telling them what they are, so you don't waste any precious time.

I got an error code on a Saturday and Tommy helped us out an hour before they were about to close. Did I mention, on a SATURDAY? When all other car repair shops are closed. Thank you so much Tommy. Looking forward to giving him more business.

Tommy worked relentlessly to fix a difficult problem with my car, going to great lengths to do what needed to be done to put us back on the road. I highly recommend Mission Valley Service Station, especially for NCSU students!
