I really liked this place when they had a storefront that allowed you to go in and try the oils. I went by the old location to find that they had moved. When I called the new location I was disappointed to hear that there is no storefront. They are now online orders only. For those folks whom are like me and prefer the storefront over online I did find one in downtown Cary and they sell many of the same oils and some that are different. Just thought I’d leave this here so folks know where to find a store front in the area.
In reference to your reply: So I can come by during those hours and come in for a tasting just like before? You have the dispensers set-up to walk and taste? Good to know. I’ll remember when I need my next restock. Thanks.

This place is awesome! One of my friends got a gift card for here and invited me to go taste some of their oils and vinegars with him and I had a great time. Really diverse flavors and the staff were really knowledgeable and answered every question we had. I was expecting to leave with a bottle of olive oil but the elderberry white balsamic vinegar was so good that I left with a bottle of that instead.

A wonderful selection of oils and balsamic vinegar. A must stop when visiting the Raleigh area. And they can ship as a gift if need be.

I've shopped at Midtown Olive Oil before they moved to this new location. Family and friends love their olive oils and balsamic vinegars which I have given as gifts. Their packaging and shipping has always worked out well for my gifts outside of NC as well. I went in today and received excellent service! One of the sales people (missed her name, sorry) was very generous with her time, helped me pick out pairings of olive oil and vinegars as gifts and they have small cards to write notes for my giftees. I tasted and got some for myself as well. Love ❤ supporting such a well run local business!

I cannot recommend Midtown Olive Oil enough! I was looking for a housewarming gift and not only did Courtney help me find the perfect gift set of olive oil and balsamic vinegar (and did a superb job of packaging it) but she was also so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was also very pleased with the pricing given the high quality of the products. I will definitely be back again soon- thanks for such a great experience!

Wonderful selection of gourmet oils and vinegars. Pricing is a bit high compared to other places but the quality is worth it.Since my review is in question concerning prices. I've bought from Blue Ridge Olive Oil company and their prices are lower by a considerable amount. Quality is exactly the same, since Veronica Foods is their distributor as well.

I thought I'd died and gone to epicurean heaven! This place is INCREDIBLE!Devin was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. She suggested oils and vinegars for me to try and there wasn't a wrong one in the bunch!I left with a big bag full of new taste sensations and can't wait to use them all.Will most definitely be a regular customer!

Terrible service during a sales event. Sales people not prepared with filled bottles, did not acknowledge us when we came in. We could not easily sample balsamic vinegars and no help available to get us sampler cups. People who came in after we did got service first. Listed sales products not out on shelves and others hard to find. As a result they lost the sale of at least 3-4 bottles of balsamic vinegar from us. We usually shop closer to our home but wanted to take advantage of the sale.

One of my favorite snacks (and to be honest, I cut a big enough piece to make it a meal) is freshly toasted French bread. With less than 5 ingredients, its transformed into delicious magnificence. I rub the bread with a fresh garlic clove and sprinkle on coarse kosher salt. In comes the magic of Midtown's high quality olive oil drizzled all over the crusty, crispy goodness. Served with a dipping plate of Midtown's balsamic vinegar mixed with a little more oil. Heaven. Absolutely divine. The quality and complexity of Midtown Olive Oil's products shine through in this simple dish. The taste cannot get compared to oils and vinegars you buy at any regular grocery store. I look forward to trying different combinations of their oils and vinegars in the future!

I wish it were possible to give Midtown Olive Oil more than 5 stars. Both their products and their customer service are superlative. I do not live in NC, but I picked up several bottles of their flavored balsamic vinegar when I was visiting relatives in NC this past summer. My husband liked all the flavors (black cherry, fig, blackberry ginger) but he LOVED the strawberry. The delicious flavor of that strawberry balsamic vinegar has been most instrumental in his weight loss of 17 pounds in the last two months. Every night for dinner he mixes the following in a bowl: low-calorie roasted vegetables, 1/3 cup of brown rice, and 1 oz. of cooked chicken. He heats the mixture in the microwave and then pours several tablespoons of the strawberry vinegar on top of it. He finds this meal both delicious and filling. At only 10 calories per tablespoon, Midtown Olive Oil's flavored balsamic vinegars are both healthy and delectable.When we used up all the vinegar I had purchased in NC, we were able to order more online (2 huge bottles of the strawberry) through Midtown Olive Oil's website. When I had a question about our order, I emailed the store. Someone called me back the very same day and quickly helped me resolve my concern.Without question, we will continue to order online from Midtown Olive Oil and look forward to stocking up at one of their stores the next time we are in NC. Many thanks to the staff for a most pleasurable shopping experience.
