I still wouldn't say the situation was perfect, but I am happy with the resolution. Lesson learned, call as soon as you get the nebulizer.*************************Suprise surprise. Half the reviewers had the same issue I did. Got a nebulizer for my son, then they billed my insurance 5x what it would cost from a medical supply store. When I recieved the bill (A month and a half after receiving the nebulizer) I called immediately and was told that I could have chosen to pay cash if I had called them within a week of receiving the nebulizer, despite not having any way of knowing that. Their meagar defense was a sticker on the side of the box that said we could call to find out the cost, with no indication that if it was processed through insurance it would be 5 times more expensive.When I asked if they could retract the claim from my insurance so I could pay the cash price, I was told no, despite my insurance provider telling me that is in fact something they should be able to do.I am currently working with our pediatrician to have them find a new medical supplier because this is just unconscionable. The only reason I left two stars instead of one was because the customer service rep was kind despite my obvious impatience. I suspect that she spends all day getting yelled at by other people "Active Healthcare" has tried to fleece.*Note to company*Don't bother trying to leave a patronizing review saying thay you made multiple efforts to contact me to make me aware of the financial situation and my options.
