Simply put, Marie is a design genius. I worked with her with many brides as a wedding planner and have seen her get her hands on different styles, fabrics, sizes, etc. all finished to perfection. I’ve had a few personal dress requests (non bridal) that have had asymmetrical overlays and elements I was scared to take to other seamstresses. I reached out to Marie praying she would say yes to the job and she met it with an enthusiastic “yes!” I cannot recommend her enough, particularly for pieces you really care about and want to make sure are cared for and finished on time and to perfection. Marie and her team did a wonderful job on my wedding dress! They paid very close attention to detail and wanted to ensure that my dress fit me perfectly. Most importantly, they made sure that I was happy with the fit and felt beautiful. My dress fit like a dream on my wedding day!

Marie is a true alterations queen! Her experience and expertise made the entire process a dream to work with her. My dress was an off the rack sample dress and when I first tried it on I assumed it would need minimal alterations. I was wrong. Once I brought it to Marie, she took so much care in making sure it fit perfectly to my body and kept me coming back until it look like it was hand crafted for me and my every curve. She even helped me with giving her opinion on accessories and other bridal looks for our wedding weekend. I truly could not recommend Marie and her team enough!

Helping my fiancee navigate her experience with Marie Cordella felt eerily similar to being caught in a spider web. Each thread, woven with disorganization, miscommunication, projections, gaslighting, and deliberate omissions.I had to call and involve the police as a third-party witness when collecting my fiancée's dresses. Marie didn't show up, and the staff present couldn't issue the promised refund. RPD incident number: 231017629.Marie will try and twist the story and fabricate details in her response. After reviewing my experiences with her business online, Marie has even threatened me legally. Marie and her team (Waverly — U MY GIRL) were the absolute best to work with for wedding dress alterations. I went in, three weeks before our elopement, freaking out because my wedding dress top did not fit me at all. Marie and Waverly welcomed me with open arms and within twenty minutes, they had a game plan with how my top would fit me at the end of our fittings. I thought three weeks would be too little time, but they assured me that it was more than enough. The confidence they exuded made me feel so comfortable and I knew my dress was in good hands. Marie is so funny, unique, and outgoing, and Waverly has this air about her which makes you feel right at home. I love the Cordella team and would suggest them to anyone looking for alterations!
