I've been here twice now,
Both times were great!
Concession workers were really nice & quick to help get our snacks prepped for us.
Ticket checker was fast & efficient at getting people checked-in.
The screen is as advertised and very impressive.
Highly recommend.

Sound, images and staff were superb.but the seats were not as comfortable as some of the newer theaters around.

We bought our tickets in advance for Twisters for a Saturday showing. We get there and are told they gave our seats away b/c their system was down so they kept selling tickets. It happened to many other people as well. We had to sit 2nd row from the screen which was awful. We did receive a refund after asking for one.
Also, my 16 year old son couldn’t find his wallet when we got home so I called Saturday night and Sunday and asked if they had found a wallet. I was told the manager would call me back. Never got a call. They were closed Monday so I called Tuesday and was told no wallet. I said “are you sure you guys looked- we were in row B”. I then get a call back 30 minutes later that they found the wallet but the $200 isn’t in it. Big shocker there! I went to get it and the manager was rude, short with me and couldn’t even tell me who found he wallet- nothing. I said “what if your staff took my sons $” and he said “my staff wouldn’t do that”. We aren’t going back! First the seat situation and now this.

Was greeted by a security guard at the main door, explained the two different lines. One for the popcorn and one to enter the theater. Staff at snack bar were awesome. Theater was clean,
seats are comfy but wish they reclined. They do go back a little bit, staff are hard working people. Thank you.

I go to this IMAX often. Last film was Dune 2 and it was an amazing experience. Love it.

I've been going to this theater for 10 plus years which is a weird thing to say because the older you get the more abstract time becomes. Here is my biggest takeaways from 10 years from this place:
It's the premier place for premiers! I went to see many movies on their release dates here and there's always a special event where people are dressed up in cosplay, theres themed movie memorabilia and you feel the hype. Go on release night or early release.
It's IMAX. It's a massive screen and it's a great experience even if you're a little close. If you lean back real good you can still enjoy the immersive expansion of everything. It's the oldest IMAX that's in town so the image can be quite grainy, which is disappointing considering how quickly theaters around town are improving, but the sound is still peak
To speak on the image, there are definitely other places I would choose to do IMAX, like the IMAX in Cary or Southpoint. On image clarity along there are many better places in my opinion because I'm a quality snob.
Considering what theaters offer out there, this one lacks in food and snacks. Marbles is showing its age and a lot of other places you can order food drinks alcohol and even have it delivered to your seat while enjoying great sound and better seat quality. It definitely needs a glow up for sure.

This theater is located downtown Raleigh, NC. A park house is nearby, which makes it really accessible and a short walk to get there. We went to see WONKA! There were no lines to fuss with, got big bags of popcorn, and a drink, then headed to the show. The showing was absolutely fantastic!! It made you laugh. it made you cry, and it made say Oooohhhh YEAH!!!!! The maximum size screen, surrounded sounds, was Awesome! Supporting staff was welcoming, and the event center was clean fresh. ? You have got to go! What a holiday weekend it has been, and there's still more to come. As we approach New Year Eve, let us be thankful and grateful for what blessings we have experienced this year and what we expect in the year to come. Be kind and sweet to those around you ♥️, Be loving and sincere in your emotions. Be an overcomemer. Be You in your relationships with others. Be safe and watchful of your soul. Just watched the Polar Express in 3D, fabulous sound with excellent picture quality. The 3D effects are so realistic with the glasses, makes you want to reach out and touch everything. As you know the Polar Express is an excellent movie bring your kids, bring the family everybody's going to love it. Theater is clean and efficient they offer food outside plus clean restrooms as well, highly recommend it.

Only place I go to imax as it is the only "giant screen" in the area for quite a ways. If I movie I want to see is playing here I buy my tickets the second they go on sale as I am very particular about my seats here but there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Love this place and am so glad it had been around for as long as it has. Classic movie theater selection of popcorn and snacks, icee and soda. Also a small but good selection of beer and a couple canned wines.
