This gym has a good weight room, decent cardio selection and a good assortment of classes. Now to get to the bad
-Trainer David Nathan and his friend hog equipment daily during peak times when its not a paid training session and there's no sense of urgency in their workout/talk session. The gym has 1 smith machine and these two will hold it for well over an hour Mon, Wed, Friday.
-Roof leaks when it rains. For this price point I'd think we can patch a leak.
-Some equipment needs duplicates such as the smith machine.
-Overall the clientele at this location lack respect and gym etiquette.

The music around the gym equipments is too loud. I don’t know how the employees can work in this environment. I used to run on the treadmill but start having migraines with the loud music. Now I only go for the gym classes in the studios.

My wife and I come here daily and love it. They have a comprehensive weightlifting area upstairs and I can usually find open racks/benches/machines quickly, even during peak hours. We swim after working out and there are always plenty of lanes available - outside beach club is great in the summer, too. The locker rooms and showers are clean, the staff is friendly, and the hot tubs are gigantic! We also like to reserve one of the three indoor pickleball courts since the parks nearby are always packed. There are lots of other amenities I haven't even mentioned!

Sadly I am forced to change my review from 5 to one star. In a recent visit, it was shocking how filthy the pool was, I usually go to the Cary location but decided to visit the Raleigh one and I so regret it. The pool was so disgusting that I had to get out after I took two strokes due to how filthy it was. I informed the front desk who asked me to reach out to the general manager to let him know if. Frankly, I would have expected them to reach out, but anyways. My son does go there and informed me today it’s gotten even worse. With the premium dues they charge, one would expect to keep it gym amenities clean.

Love this location, always clean.
Has great indoor/outdoor lap pools. I prefer this location over Cary for the outdoor pool because there is way more seating at this location.
Great equipment upstairs, it just gets busy around 6pm (as does 90% of gyms).

The gym is spectacular for starters. I am writing this review as I would like to point out the best trainer that I have ever had the fortune of working with, and his name is Will P. He has taught me so much about the industry, with his experience and expertise. I have lost 45 pounds, and I have accomplished this all because of Will. He loves what he does, and it shows. He is also laser focused when it comes to working out with his clients, and pays attention to them verses what’s going around him. I have hired so many trainers over the course of my life that I have seen many different styles of training but he is hands down the best. I have spent 7 years at Falls of the Neuse location now, and it’s the best of the locations in this market.. I can’t express what a wonderful journey this has been. While this gym is more expensive than most gyms, it’s an investment in yourself, and who better to invest in? As I always say, you can spend a lifetime in lifetime and it’s true. ?

Natalie at the front desk was very patient and understanding when it came to trying to fix my account so I could rejoin the gym. Give that girl a raise!

Life Time Fitness is a step above the rest! They really have it all going on under one roof. You could easily come here every day and you'd still find plenty of variety to keep you busy and engaged.. So much to do and so many members to meet!

As a prospective customer, I went to the front desk to see about getting a tour of the facility. The guy at the front desk lifts his head from his tablet, looking a little annoyed, no "hello", or "welcome to Lifetime", nothing. Cold vibes. Making me initiate the conversation. I told him I was interested in a tour. Still looking somewhat annoyed that am standing in front of him, gives me a tablet to fill out. I walked through the facility unattended because no one was available (which at this point was fine, I had already made my decision at this point)..............Forget it, I'll go find another club.

The facilities are stellar but the prices are outrageous! ?????
From $179/mo this is insane to me! ??

Sad when you call a Jim to take a tour. And when you get there, they tell you they have nobody to show you around. I guess when you’re blind, you’re not really a priority even though you have two people and staff members just standing around the front desk.even when you have somebody who could see that walk you around they dismiss you

Pretty good gym, it's clean and they have lots of weight. Doubled prices, though, so I stopped going.
