6 weeks ago I brought my elderly dog in for a routine visit. He came home with Kennel Cough and has been very sick ever since. He never leaves our yard and therefore has had not exposure to other dogs or dog viruses. I brought him back for care afterward and had to pay full price even though he caught the virus there.
I called back to bring him again and requested they work something out for the next visit and I was told it’s impossible that he caught the virus there. I pointed out that is false (as a biologist and someone who has worked in vet clinics) for several reasons. At least be honest with me if you don’t want to accept responsibility for your mistakes. He was taken in the back for 10 minutes and had contact with several staff members who could have had the virus on their scrubs or he could have picked it up in the back.
I’ve brought my two dogs and cat here for two years. Every time I go, there is a different vet and the care is inconsistent. Some are wonderful (which is why I gave 2 stars) and some are not. I twill not be going back.

Highly recommend. I have been taking my pups Nero and Rhea here for several years. Super awesome staff and great service. I have used Banfield in the past. Never felt connected to their staff like we do at Leesville!

I did a teeth cleaning here in 2023 and it was roughly $300 including anesthesia and removing two incisors for a dachshund. I went in now in 2024 and was told on day of appointment that price is now $700 since one small incisor would likely need to be pulled and X-rays are now required
X-rays were not required in 2023 to remove 2 incisors but now they are? And in one year the price more than doubled? Had I known this I would not have booked the appointment. Had to cancel day of the cleaning
The explanation from the tech: "yes prices go up every year". I get that. No problem. But to go from $300 to $700 for the exact same procedure simply by adding a mandatory x-ray is absurd. The price more than doubled! Guess I have to find a new place for teeth cleanings :(

Dr. Bailey is the best doctor we have experienced in many years! He is a great listener, and provides detailed technical information but in a compassionate and caring way! The staff is always friendly and professional. Thank you Dr. Bailey for caring so much for our pets!

I called due to having a sick cat and they were able to get her in the day of. The staff is incredibly friendly and the facility is really clean. The vet I saw gave me a few different options which was really helpful. A few days later I have a healthy kitty and a wallet that was not hurting! Really great place. This is my go to for my cat from now on. Thanks to the staff!!!

Took the dog for an allergy shot. They were professional and quick. In and out in about 15 minutes. BTW, they gave a same-day appointment, which really helped.

What a great experience! I have a nervous dog and going for a vet visit is never fun. The staff really took their time to listen about my dog’s past vet experiences and went above and beyond building a rapport with her! They listened and explained everything clearly and I never felt rushed. The entire staff was warm, welcoming and compassionate from the front desk, the vet tech, and doctor! I will continue coming here and highly recommend!!!!

Our pet family members (they are not animals to us) for the past 16 years have ALL been patients at Leesville Animal Hospital. This is hands down the best veterinary practice in the area. Through the years with all our pet family, the vets and staff have ALWAYS given the most compassionate and best clinical care for routine and extraordinary events. They have always gone over and above to treat the myriad of conditions we have experienced with our pet family members. They are the BEST.
