Dangerously understaffed. Nothing negative to say about the actual teachers they are doing their best with what they have but with lack of help it wasn't acceptable or safe for our standards.

This one of the worst childcare facilities I have ever seen. Unless your child is a toddler those teachers seem nice and genuine. On multiple occasions I have witnessed Mr. J, the one with the guitar, yell at students. The facility itself smells horrible. It had such a foul odor when inside I could barely stand it.There is no stability in the classroom. I was told a specific teacher would be my child’s teacher and have never seen her teach any kids all she does is sit in one place. They run this place like they run a McDonald’s. If you come to work, come and they’ll make you “watch” the kids. They do video everyday, and I watch the stream religiously and never saw any teaching going on. They updated in their app that the kids are doing this or they’re doing that and all I ever saw was the kids eating and sleeping, or listening to Mr. J sing and this is the Pre-K class! They take your money and provide the bare minimum of service. My child only attended a few short days.0 out 10 would not recommend.

Not entirely sure what happened to my review. But we paid a $125 fee for a guaranteed spot in December 2021 when we called for our spot we were told they didn’t have anything until February. Big SCAM.

I enjoy working here with the children and the employees! They are so clean and friendly and they are amazing when it comes to taking care of the children and their employees! I'm so happy I decided to work here!

As a Mom, I feel like it’s finally time that I write this. I should add my experience is from a little over a year ago in the 1 year old room and it has taken me a long time to write this review. We had been at a great daycare (it was actually less expensive) but we needed to switch due to my job and I needed a daycare open until 6:30. We started on Monday and we pulled her out that Wednesday. Her previous daycare talked about how wonderful she was and they were sad to see her go. All I heard from our time here is how awful my daughter was... “ she cries, doesn’t like the kids, doesn’t like the food...” NEVER once did anyone try to help her adjust. Also in her time here, she had the worst diaper rash I have ever seen on my daughter and she hit her head to the point they wanted us to sign a liability waiver. They told me when I picked her up she fell a few minutes ago, not mentioning she hit her head. Turns out that they had a “misbehaving 2 year old- their words” in the class and she pushed my barely 1 year old daughter and she fell into the table and hit the corner of her head. They didn’t even have the decency to let me know this so I could keep an eye on her. I really HOPE it has improved since our time there. We went back to our old daycare and they were happy to have her back. The same teachers have been at her school since we started and she is now 3. I can’t imagine how many have come and gone from this place since we left.

Absolutely LOVE the infant room, the teacher is amazing. Safe, happy, good environment. My 4 year old son attends La Petite, as well as my 8 month old daughter. We've been going there since he was just 12 weeks old. We are so pleased with this daycare! The teachers and staff are very attentive and friendly, and my son always has a great time there! It's a very clean and safe environment.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!! Deemed a "five star daycare" with one star service. The retention rate for your child's caregivers at this center is so high I didn't know sometimes who was actually watching my child. I could tell you some really shady stories from our nearly year and a half at this center, but the icing on the cake and reason we inevitably took our child out was my 1 year old's arm was broken during the day and I have no idea how. NO ONE CALLED ME, and when I picked her up they told me she "may have a belly ache" because she was out of character all afternoon and very fussy. It was abundantly clear when I laid my eyes on her that she had a issue with her arm, and for a 1 year old she was very verbal and actually told me "Mommy arm hurt." The response I got from the directors and teachers was absurd. Their stories kept changing like they were trying to cover something up. I still to this day do not know how my poor 1 year old broke her little arm. My goal is to stop parents from possibly going through what I did, or worse. Do not send your child to this center. Not only should you have the fear of injury, their curriculum is horrible and your child will basically just be in a free for all with no structured learning. Again, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO LA PETITE ACADEMY ON SIX FORKS.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! BEWARE OF THIS DAYCARE!!!!!!!Until last week my niece was attending this daycare! All was well and fine until she contracted an infection that left her hospitalized. The doctor that performed her surgery advised that there was a strong possibility that she contracted the infection while being in an unsanitary environment. Her mother, who is on assistance, contacted the director. Instead of the director being apologetic for the health of my niece; she is threatened by the fact that the infection is being pin pointed by being contracted at her daycare. She does not own La Petite. La Petite is a stand alone daycare. THIS IS NOT the first time that they have been blamed for POOR sanitary conditions. Please read the reviews for all sites around the country. People who are affected are not leaving reviews. They are just removing their children from this daycare. Whether you can afford the total cost of daycare or you receive assistance; it is imperative that your child is taken care of in a clean and educational environment that they can thrive in. Please be aware and take in account that not only did my niece, who is 13 months, have to have surgery to have her infection removed, her mother was also overcharged for her daycare fee. Check your receipts!Take care of your children and bypass this place!!!

La Petite has been a wonderful experience for my 2 year old son and our family. We love getting the updates to know what he is doing in class and to see his happy face. The staff is welcoming and kind, and I can tell they truly care about my son. They create wonderful experiences for the children, read, sing and play outdoors every day. My son loves his teachers and his new friends. The rooms are also incredibly clean! La Petite is what every family is looking for when it comes to their child- a warm, inviting environment with engaging and educational experiences.

May I share with you why our family feels La Petite well deserves its 5 star rating….I love being a part of my children’s day via activity updates. There are 6-8 received daily via e-mail. I not only know what they eat for breakfast , lunch and snack but also how much. This is a great way to identify which foods are preferred and which have been tried for the first time. The variety is wonderful. Parents are updated when your child goes down for naptime and the duration. What book is being read that day and the lessons it conveys. Great fun activities like preschoolers going on trips to the library and pumpkin patches. Updates on in house daycare activities like Zumba, building things, science projects or playing dress up. Oh, and did I mention these are sprinkled with pictures of your little ones enjoying and expressing themselves. All of this provides excellent teaching and talking points to share with your children. All of the staff are warm and caring and give individualized attention to each child. Whether it be coaxing your little one to let go so you can scoot to work or your day’s activities, engaging your child on what they have on and building their self- esteem it adds up to creating well balanced children. There is an appropriate amount of structure provided while still letting kids be kids. If there are issues with your child, perhaps they did not “have their listening ears on that day” it’s all communicated so you can work with your child to foster their showing respect , embracing growth and development as a person. All of this makes La Petite a premier provider of daycare services.

LaPetite is a wonderful daycare and educational facility for our son! The infant room is managed by great teachers who are constantly looking out for the best interest and safety of the children they are caring for. Having a child with food intolerances is worrysome for any parent. The LaPetite staff have cautiously and carefully questioned, as well as wanted to understand what foods were safe for our child. A huge relief on our part!! I would recommend LaPetite to anyone looking for a quality daycare facility in the Raleigh area.

My son is in the 3 year old class and we love it! He loves all of his teachers and the staff really strives to make every child feel special. The monthly Literacy Nights and special events like the book fair, pot-lucks, and holiday parties are a definite added bonus. The staff is very qualified and I am impressed with how many teachers here have masters degrees! Ms. Chandra and Ms. Vanessa do a fantastic job as the management team and are always helpful.

After going to one Daycare for two years I decided to make a change and chose La Petite Academy and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Both my son and my daughter enjoy the staff and the activities and are eager to go every morning. I would recommend La- Petite to any parent.
