I had ordered a gold pendant online from an Etsy merchant, intending to use it with my own special gold chain, but when it arrived I realized that the fixed bale would not accept either end of the chain because the double locking clasp was too large. Not wanting to risk damage, I stopped trying to force it and went to Jared in Raleigh. I was greeted by Dennis, who very graciously held open the doors, led me to a seat, and offered me water. When I explained what I needed, he made a few suggestions (add a jump ring or change the bale) that I rejected. He then summoned Natalie, who took the pieces back into a workroom where some unnamed wizard managed to place my pendant on my chain very quickly and without damaging anything. When I asked what I owed, Dennis said "just come back!" Then Natalie locked the clasp for me (because I have some physical challenges, I need a chain that I can pull over my head without unlocking), held open the doors, and wished me a pleasant day as I left.
I am still in awe at their gracious service. I would recommend Jared to anyone looking for jewelry or repair work and I will certainly return if I do.

Manju was the best! We caught her again right after she transferred from Cary and it was perfect! She helped me create the perfect ring for me with a rose gold setting not displayed. With pricing, she helped to meet my affordability with a lab grown 1 carat. She paid attention to detail! Thank you Manju!

Dennis is the man with the plan! I gave him a style idea and my budget and he found the perfect ring. My fiancée absolutely loves it! We had some sizing issues but Sandy, Quay and the Jared’s staff got everything resolved the very next day! When it’s time to upgrade her ring, or I’m in the market for new jewelry; this is the place I’ll be!! Thanks guys! You made this proposal so special!

I was just getting an idea of an engagement ring so I can't speak to the buying aspect but the associate who assisted me was very helpful. Dennis was knowledgeable and helped me figure out the color and cut I'd like without pushing.
