The staff here are incredible. They really listen to your concerns and are very gentle with you pet. They are also dedicated to finding a solution and seem genuinely concerned for your pets well being. We just moved here and my dog is having issues with her ears and they are working hard to help her! If you are searching for a new veterinary this is the place to go!

When I first went to this vet years ago, I was very pleased. Dr. Manchester was very kind and professional. I went back with a new cat a several years later and it looks like Dr Manchester is no longer involved with the business. I had to leave her overnight since they were so busy. When I picked her up, I found they had yanked off my cat's collar to examine her and left a cut on her neck were the clasp had been. I was not able to get any information from the front desk about her care, and no one returned my calls after picking her up. This vet is everything you wouldn't want in someone caring for your pet-- high priced and totally unconcerned about care or service.

Have taken our two dogs here for years. Cannot imagine a better vet/clinic to care for our dogs. Everyone that works there is compassionate about the animals they care for. They work with you to care for your animal. Their pricing is very reasonable. They follow up on every situation/condition/visit and know each of the animals by name.

Dr. Cassidy and the entire staff at Hayes Barton Animal Hospital are the best! We have been taking our dog Ollie there for a few months now, and they have never been anything but kind and gentle. Dr. Cassidy is extremely knowledgeable and has been able to assist us with diagnosing and treating an ongoing tick disease that Ollie has been struggling with. I would 100% recommend Hayes Barton Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a local vet in Raleigh!

Hayes Barton was recommended to me by three separate neighbors when I moved to Raleigh and has been great for both my dog and my cat. The staff are friendly and they have a great system for keeping your pets up to date with all vaccinations and check ups. They are all great folks here.

Hayes Barton was the reason my cat got the care and surgery she needed after having a strange side effects from her former owners declaw. They also are very thorough and cat friendly. I had to take my cat to get a vaccine out of state and am realizing how many places don't offer the cat specific rabies vaccine. Just little things Hayes Barton did to assure the best care that I wasn't even fully aware of!

We are on our third fur baby with HB and have always been extremely pleased. We even took our son's rescue beagle there when she visited. Thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable staff. Our dogs have always been happy to visit the vet!!!

We took our dog, Cooper, for his first visit to get established care and we were SO happy with the team at Hayes Barton. The staff was incredibly friendly and we were seen quickly. Dr. Luke was very thorough, caring, and you could tell she was very knowledgeable! We also had tests ran and got the results the next day and all results were texted & emailed to us promptly. We are so happy we chose this office for vet care— our pup is in the best hands!

Been going here through the lives of two dogs…about 28 years seeing Dr. Manchester and then Dr. Cassidy. They are great Veterinarians who care greatly about you and your pets. They alway have plenty of time and all the staff are professional and courteous. I’d never go anywhere else.

I have been going to Hayes Barton for well over 10 years. I am a neurotic, "my pets are my children/family" pet owner. I would not go anywhere else. Some of the reviews have highlighted the cost of Hayes Barton - I have not value shopped my vet. I feel confident I could find lower cost services (cant you always in the age of Amazon?) but I am not willing to sacrifice the talent or service that I have at HB. Dr Cassidy has been with HB the entire length of my time and she is excellent. I have lived in several large cities and she is by far the best vet we have ever seen. She is the rare mix of compassion and care with knowledge and an honest approach that puts your pet first. The techs are compassionate and confident in their roles. The space is very clean and modern. This is a small, local business trying to compete with conglomerates. I think having low turn-over with a staff results in a really committed team of people that know your pet - it directly impacts care.HB has made the decision to invest in their staff and I think you get what you pay for in today's market - the parking lot is usually full so a lot of people agree. I would not consider going anywhere else.

So nice to the animals there! Note at this time ( Spring 21) you have to do curbside with your pet. Your pet goes in but you stay outside.

I have never even been inside the building but I’ve never felt so comfortable taking my dog somewhere. I got my pup Max at the beginning of the pandemic, and he’s only ever been seen by the staff at Hayes Barton. They are so loving and kind and thorough. I always know Max is going to get excellent care. They go above and beyond to communicate with parents during the pandemic since we can’t go inside. They also clearly care about the animals they treat. Whenever Max has been sick, they always call to check in and make sure he’s recovering. I’ll never take a pet anywhere else in Raleigh!

Dr Luke and the team at Hayes Barton are hands down the best. Both of my dogs love them, and know them by name. They follow up and check on them often and are so empathetic and talk me through everything. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in taking care of my fur babies. Dr Luke just called me after hours to check in - and caught me in a dog stress moment and reassured me everything was ok. I am so thankful.
