Megan and Blaise were very helpful. The last brick and mortar location seemed to go away, and getting a hold of a person for scheduling a maintenance issue was significantly easier, oddly enough.

Don’t risk it. After 3 hour install and 50 ft wire left running in my backyard, tech support came out next day and could not get my apps working on Google. Worst part is they charge me $88 for two weeks of service and will not make adjustments. How are they in business?

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the absolute worst internet provider. Their so-called 'technical team' seems to be playing games rather than addressing issues promptly. After enduring days without internet, the saga continued as they sent technicians who appear clueless, making the situation even more unbearable. Avoid this provider at all costs!

I signed up with Google Fiber over three years ago and have loved their service. Unfortunately, I started having problems with their service a week ago and things have spiraled into a nightmare. To try to get my service back up and running I have had 4 technicians visit my home, 1 electrician and 1 construction crew. You obviously have to be home for the visits, so I miss out on valuable working hours waiting for my Internet to hopefully be restored. I will say the technicians and phone support staff are very nice and do their best to be helpful. However their chat support is a NIGHTMARE. I have spent hours trying to resolve my issues via chat. Their chat support service is one of the poorest customer service experiences I've ever had and I've been forced to chat at least 5 different times. In the process of requesting a discount based on the continued outages, which they recommended I do via chat, they simply cancelled my account. This has caused all sorts of other issues. While the actual Google Fiber service is very good; when things go wrong, you will waste hours of your life dealing their chat support.Pro tip: If at all possible, use their customer service call number, if you can speak to their customer service agents on the phone they are truly kind and helpful.

had google fiber installed 2 months ago. Installer was not cooperative to my request to run wires under house. he insisted on running wire outside on top of my siding. he then broke the piece of siding he was trying to run the wire through. then he tried an amateurish patch with caulk. the installer left without making me aware of his damage to my home. a month after contacting google a service guy has come by and look . now another month later nothing, no resolution , no contact . their service is second rate if it can't be resolved by two clicks from a computor terminal

When it works, it's great and can support all of the speeds they advertise. Unfortunately, we have random days when I don't get enough speed to effectively work from home. We've had people come out and look, but the customer service is truly horrendous. When you report an issue, it will take anywhere from 1-4 days for them to send a "technician," who essentially just confirms that there is an issue. It then takes several more days for someone to come out and fix the problem. We recently put in a ticket when I lost internet on a Monday morning and had to go work from somewhere downtown. We were promised that someone would come that day, and then they canceled last minute. We were then promised that two more people, including a supervisor, would come, and they never did. Our internet came back, indicating there is probably a fiber connection problem somewhere, but we have yet to see a representative. We will be switching to AT&T or Earthlink as soon as it is available at our location. Even Spectrum has better service than this.

I just switched to google Fiber and my internet got worse. I tried their Router, Their Nest Pro, extenders and nothing helped. I switched to another mesh next and now the internet is just blazing fast. This goes to show, Google needs to upgrade or do a better job with the wifi routers they are offering as free particularly for a house that is multi floor with walls.I also wanted to comment that associate at the store seems very incompetent, I don't want to name the lady but she said all the returned items will be taken off the account and now I see a charge on my account for a device even though I returned it. I spoke to customer service and they escalated it to the store and are not looking into it, the fact that this wasn't automatic and now I need to wait to get the charge taken off on an already returned device really disappoints me. I love google but I this isn't the kind of service I expected from such a well reputed firm. You guys have a very long way to go if you would like to compete with ATT, Comcast or Verizon.
