“Dropped in to do a vehicle inspection without an appointment. Expected to have to wait at least an hour with the vehicles there onsite. Was in and out in under 15 mins. They are always very nice, and friendly. Have recommended them to a number of friends.”

“The prices are great (the membership will pay for itself), but the lines can be a pain (figure you'll wait 10 minutes before you can fill up). If you go early in the morning (pumps open a couple hours before the store), you can avoid long wait times for gas.”
“Excellent service, my car is old and the paint is rough so dirt can really stick to it hard which is normally impossible for drive-thru carwashes to deal with BUT Sam's Xpress did amazing and made sure to allow adequate pre-wash before sending me through which ensured my car came out squeaky clean! Also appreciate the clean vaccum stations with maintained garbage recepticles, the vacuum system is excellent and strong. Thanks for all the great car washes! and thanks for taking care of your team members, you must because they do a wonderful job.”

“The POS takes literally 1 minute for me to input my refuel savings number and process my payment there was 2 ppl behind me and the 3rd couldn't wait 60 seconds for my transaction because he was late for his movie so he proceeded to take it out on the employees and guests of the establishment the employees stood behind each other and everyone was served in a timely manner despite the spectacle. The employees here go through Alot and I'm glad they came out on top this round.”

“Fair gas prices, and with the Harris Teeter VIC card I usually get $0.50 off gas prices every time I fill up. Only complaint is the lack of a convenience store. I understand the point is to go to the Harris Teeter store itself, but it's very inconvenient to cross the busy traffic of US401.”

“I love KAI Sushi. It's a bit of a hike from my house but I've been making the trip monthly! A great spot for dinner for 2. We always go with the 5 rolls for $39.99 deal. Way better sushi than your average "bogo" style sushi place. You also get free edamame when you come in! The only downside is the service is very slow. I took off 1 star because the last 4 times I've been the wait for food is forever and I've often sat with empty water. However, the staff is really nice and they serve great sushi! It's very worth a visit.”

“My car was broke down and I had no idea what to get to fix it, and turns out I put in the wrong type of gas. The cashier helped me buy some octane (I think that’s what it’s called) to help the car process the gas. He’s so helpful and I felt so welcome in this gas station compared to others. He basically saved my car and my job. My car started working in 30 minutes and I was only 10 minutes late to work rather than a no show. I will be returning to this location.”

“I go here almost every morning. They always have fresh coffee ready to go. The store is privately owned by a very nice family. Always stocked with snacks and drinks to enjoy and start the day off right. Gas prices themselves usually beat any others in the Raleigh-area. The mornings around 7 and afternoons around 3-4 are usually fairly busy but the lot is quite spacious and there are a lot of pumps. I have never had any issues with the "please see cashier" message and I have ever seen a pump out of service. The bathrooms inside which are free to use are very clean and have actually decent toilet paper. If you are driving through the area or are a local looking for cheap gas, I would definitely recommend this location.”

“One of the last gas stations to keep prices below $4 when we recently saw the surge due to the war overseas. When other local stations were already at $4.39 this station was still offering prices under $4. Makes it obvious who doesn't jump on the profit bandwagon when times get tough for customers.”
“Honestly, any place that can sell fishing bait, as well as have one of the best wine selections I have seen in North Carolina, it right up my alley, so of course Taylor's Wine Shop is perfect! While I did not check out the live bait selection this time, the wine portion was fantastic. Situated a stones throw off of 540 in Raleigh, this store is super convenient if you are driving through as I am often doing from the Triad to the Eastern part of the state. I had heard of Taylor's from a podcast, and finally made it into the store. The state was super friendly and was excited to be able to help me out with a few suggestions for a party I was going to! Just a great selection of things that are unique and the gentleman helping me knew about multiple bottles he showed me. Certainly go in and have a conversation with them and you may come out with something new you really enjoy! I will be returning when I am traveling 540 and I would be at Taylor's constantly if I lived in the area!!”

“It's a gas station/convenience store. What can I really say about it? It's like pretty much every other one out there. Except for one thing... It's open 24 hours... kinda. If you go after 11pm, they lock the doors. There's a window that you have to beat on to get somebody to come around. Then a guy (who barely speaks English) comes over "sometimes" to ask what you want through a vent in the window. Then he goes and gets it (if he understood you) and puts it through like a bank teller drawer after you buy it. And "sometimes" you beat on the window and there doesn't seem to be anybody inside and you have to go somewhere else. That's the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.”
