A cashier put his up at me instead of being calm when announcing they were closing.

This is the closet FL to my home so I’m always here & I'm sick of cashing out & always being constantly watched. I understand that it’s required but today all 4 self checkouts were occupied & the worker decides to stand next to mine. Ridiculous! Being stereotyped is the worst feeling

Easily the nicest and most organized Food Lion in the area. It’s a little bit tuck away in the corner of the shopping center, but it’s larger than most and has a huge selection of wine and seasonal items! The staff is also super helpful!

After working 12 hours today, stopped in to pick up a few things. Was DISAPPOINTED when I went to pay for my items at approximately 8:15 pm and only self checkout was available. The host up front was not helpful at all in explaining why no staffed registers were available. Looks like I will shop a competitor's store for my future grocery needs.

I always have such a nice experience from anyone working at this location. They are all so cheerful and helpful. I left a bag at the check out and one of the nicest ladies came out to my car to give it to me.I

Don’t ever go here. Most of their food is expired and/or rotting. Low quality. They close the registers at 7pm and so you have to self check out all by yourself, while the workers just stand around talking to each other. Absolutely ridiculous. I won’t be coming back here, I knew I should have stuck with Whole Foods. You get what you pay for!

I would rate it higher than most. But I made a review before about the poor service. And I found out the kid, the red headiah kid named Will who works there. Absolutely need to do drug tests. I will be calling the store in the morning to talk to the store manager. Kid is a nightmare, they need to get rid of his bad behavior with customers

PROs: This is a mid-size Food Lion, not too big, not too small. It's also one of the newest and cleanest Food Lion locations in the area. Pretty good produce and overall product selection. Always at least 1 register open, plus two self-checkout lanes. If it was just this store, I would give it 4 stars.
CONs: Like most grocery stores, how much you spend here is partly based on which items you choose, and the rest is based on how hard you are willing to work to get the best deals. All Food Lion stores lose 2 stars, with me, based on how they have their MVP discounts set up. *
* DETAILS BELOW:
The easiest way to get discounts is to sign up for the frequent shopper card, which Food Lion calls their MVP card. Then add a "phone number" (which doesn't have to be a real phone number if you don't want to get on a spam calling list...any 10-digit number will do) to your MVP card, then skip.carrying the actual card or even a keytag. All you need at checkout is that "phone number."
I'm not much of a paper coupon person, so I usually skip those. The coupon kiosk just inside the right-hand door seems convenient, except that you have to remember every time you walk into the store to stop at the kiosk and enter your phone number. (**Food Lion corporate, you lose 1 star for this).
You used to have to cut or tear our the paper coupons from the kiosk any more. Any extra deals from the coupon kiosk now get added directly to your MVP card, but this is only, AFTER you type your number into the kiosk.
It doesn't make sense why they make the coupon kiosk automatically PRINT OUT coupons, since most people just leave them in the printer, or they drop them in the recycling bin below. (**Food Lion corporate, you lose 2 stars for wasting paper, ink, and your customer's time. However you earn 1 of those stars back for having that handy recycling bin. I only hope that you ACTUALLY RECYCLE all that paper!)
In theory, you can get even more deals if you install and use the Good Lion app on your smartphone, including online-only deals, and earning discounts off your NEXT visit. But in reality, thATFood Lion app is basically useless. DON'T PLAN ON LOOKING AT THE APP WHILE YOU ARE IN THE STORE. Why? On the one hand, the app is totally dependent on having CURRENT Internet access. On the other hand, your phone probably won't be able to connect to the Internet while you are inside the store, because Food Lion uses localized jammers to block such signals. Forget using the My Shopping List feature on the app! Don't they know this will frustrate every customer who tries to use the Food Lion app while there are inside a Food Lion store?!?

The food lion has great employees. Very helpful, polite and always smiling. I find the stores layout easy to shop. Always have good sales on products I like. They also have a great selection for those of us who can't afford the name brand products. The cheaper products are very good quality and we find them just as good if not better than the high end products. Foodlion has been our choice of groceries for decades. Keep up the good work.
