Since the remodeling, the store is much cleaner. The staff is VERY friendly, everyone seems to smile as they do their jobs. This is my go-to grocery store. I HIGHLY recommend.

I’m tired of checking a full cart of groceries out on my own. 3 staff members all standing around the self checkout area at noon time, but no cashiers to check people out. Prices have gone up so much, but no more customer service.

I went to this food lion which is two minutes from my house . I tried to rush over there before work to get 15 pizzas for my church youth group event . Imagine my surprise when I got there and alll the cases were empty ??. I practically begged the workers to get me some pizzas from the back . They said they could not because they had stacked something in front of the pizzas in the back ? They seemed apologetic tho.I only went to this food lion because it’s right next to my house and because of the amazing energy and customer service. Well all the employees that made that place amazing either left or got fired and now this . When I got off work I called this food lion several times trying to figure out if I could go pick up the pizzas… no answer . So I went to the food lion on falls of the neuse rd. Let me tell you I will not be coming back go this location even this it’s closer . The food lion on falls of the neuse was fully stocked and cleaner and the employees were as friendly and helpful as the ones who used to work at this food lion. This location … yikes with the dead flies on the food and the dirty bathrooms … I think I’ll just go to the one on falls of the neuse from now on

I used to shop at this food store for many years but after my visit today I will not be returning. The shelves were poorly stocked, there was mold on the grate under the buttermilk, the floors are gross, the sunflowers in the produce section are all dead because they have not been watered, the chicken salad in the deli section did not even look like chicken salad, the deli section did not have anyone staffing it. The entire store needs to be renovated. The employees never look happy nor acknowledge you or ask if you need assistance.

One of the bigger Food Lion stores. Displays are well-arranged and meat offerings, while not as extensive as some competitors, are adequate and fresh.
