Place is a mess and under poor management. It’s not welcoming as soon as you pull in and doesn’t get better when you’re in there. It’s super janky and sketchy.

Service is poor. Employees are very distracted and socializing with each other while customers wait. Food selection is fine. Well stocked. Store could use some updating.

I went into this store with my 5 months old. I was pushing him in the stroller and pulling a cart behind me until he got fussy and I had to take him out of the stroller. A kind employee offered to keep my stroller at customer service until I was done shopping. Then, when I went through the self checkout (still holding my baby), the employee manning self checkout offered to ring up my items for me. They were so incredibly kind and made my day.

Garlic purchased yesterday, supposedly expires in late January, covered in mold. Juice shots bought in boxes on sale 2 for $6, expiration date is hidden inside the box on the individual bottles, expired 3 months ago. A company that makes 87 billion a year in revenue is deceiving people into buying their expired food. That is an act of desperation, not something a thriving company should do. They will sacrifice your money and/or health for an extra dollar

This once good little store is now forcing all customers to self check out by having one register open and a line doen the isle waiting for that one. If i wanted to scan and bag groceries i would put in an application. Oh well, Foodlion joins Walmart as places that I will no longer spend my money. I will gladly pay a little more elsewhere for actual customer service instead of on the job training with no employee discount.
