This is the second time I used Few Moves. Both times the move went off without an issue. They are on time, efficient, and careful. I would use them again in a heartbeat. The second move was a bit bigger and longer than the first, but they handled it very well.

I used few movies again December of 2023. And I meant to repost my review but it's been a hectic few months. I got another apartment and had a deadline to move out of my old one. It was a week before Christmas and they fit me in to move my apartment to my new one. I apologize it's been a few months and I have forgotten the names of the movers but they were super nice and professional and moved all my items with car. Went up and down 15 steps in my new townhouse all day without any issues. They did a ton of work and deserve a raise. This is my 4th time I think using few moves. Highly recommended.
I am editing my review after four years. I moved out of my apartment Tuesday and again used Few moves for the third time. I was not disappointed. Q and Will were so nice and professional. They did a great job with all my things. Very friendly and helpful and polite.
They got my items safely the their destination. And loaded them into my apartment. Great service overall.
After scheduling two different moving companies I ended up going back to the first place I checked out, which is Few Moves. I was reluctant to use movers as I had not done so before. I'd only used U-hauls. I called and talked to Matt. He was able to fit me in the schedule last minute. I got a more than reasonable quote of $1083 which was the cheapest of the companies I researched. Marcus G and Dakota arrived at 8 am sharp, 15 minutes early. They were very friendly and professional and handled all my items with more than enough care. They even wrapped my entertainment center in blankets and tape. They also made packing and loading the truck and car a fun experience rather than boring. After the truck was loaded in roughly an hour, they headed for Cary. I left shortly afterwards in my own car. They got to the new apartment about ten minutes after me. They got the truck unloaded and just told me they'll even help me unload my car and not to worry about it. After everything was done, we realized my bed frame was still at my old apartment. Slight snag but nothing major. I was at my old apartment today to clean up. Marcus G came back and took the frame apart and drove it up to Cary. After arriving promptly assembled it and even helped me put up my medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Cannot say enough good things about the team I had. If I move again I will most certainly hire Few Moves again.

1 star bc they were timely and nice. However, they broke my 65in tv, got black stains on my off-white couch & messed up the corner. In their defense, my couch didn't fit in the elevator, and they carried it up multiple flights. They dumped over my palm trees, resulting in soil loss. Broke several of my glass Tupperware, saying it was packed wrong, yet others in the box didn't break. Not to mention, I've accidentally slammed Tupperware on counter before with no damage, meaning it's pretty solid. And lastly, they scuffed up my fish tank stand. But because we didn't pay the extra $500 insurance, they would only pay 60cents to the pound. So, for all that, I'd roughly get $20. Not to mention, they took apart my desk and never returned the hardware. They charged way more than the quote, even though we were quoted more hours than we used. Did I mention it took them 1hr to go 4miles! I would NEVER recommend this company and regret using them. I have moved many times and never had such chaos.

I used Few Moves for a small in-home move and they were great. Everything went smoothly. Bryan and Dontez were excellent workers - they took great care of my furniture, books, and “stuff.” Chris was super helpful setting up the move and providing an accurate estimate. I would definitely use them again.

These guys are true professionals. Chris did a great job coordinating everything. They made sure our furniture and boxes were handled carefully from start to finish. We will use them again if moving and will be recommending them to friends and family. Thanks for all your help! You guys were fantastic.

Best moving company in the triangle! From my first phone call with Chris to the movers (Bryan & Oleg) I had a great experience. The movers were fast but also made sure that my things were taken care of & protected during the move.

5 ? Chris helped me with my estimate & answered all my questions. Bryan, Oleg & Doentez were my movers. They were very professional, quick, and efficient. It's very stressful when moving & Few Moves helped relieve some of that stress. They finished in the estimated time & I didn't have any damages during the move. Highly recommend Few Moves & if I move again, I'm definitely using them!

WOW! That’s all I can say. Where do I start?
I found A Few Moves while randomly searching for a moving company in anywhere, NC with an actual rating above 0.2 Stars.
I’ve never heard of AFM before. Let’s just say that I’ve had NOTHING BUT bad experiences with moving companies in the past—the last being around 2.5 years ago. I won’t call anybody out, but let’s just say that their name closely resembles a couple of friends and a vehicle.
Anyhow, I found A Few Moves and asked around about anyone’s experience. I searched the BBB website, arrest & bankruptcy business databases. A Few Moves checked out Great! Yaayyy
I had thee best experience with A Few Moves. Chris, the scheduling coordinator, is sooo professional. He listens intently. He’s a man of his word. He’s kind and very attentive. He’s also very patient.((I tend to get days mixed up because of past concussions AND I have a really bad stutter)) No sweat! Chris was cool as a cucumber and even-tempered the entire process.
THE CREW:
Man! These guys were stellar! Chris sent me 3 guys instead of 2, just to save me money. How courteous of him! He remembered my saying that I’m on a fixed income.
The guys worked super quickly for my small job. I must say, I was a bit curious about one of those nice men because I swear he and the Keebler Elf are the same height. I jokingly asked Chris, “What is he supposed to move, a potty chair?”
Chris assured me that this guy would be just as efficient as his 2 other coworkers (who basically dwarfed him). Chris was correct! That guy may be short in stature, but geez he’s STRONG. He picked up 2 of my really heavy 17x17 boxes withOut the hand truck and sailed down my 2 flights of stairs multiple times. Just think of a 5 foot cross between Rocky Balboa and Stretch Armstrong.
The other 2 guys were awesome as well. Brian, whose height rivals that of Lurch, is the crew leader. He manages his team well without the Big “I”, Little “You”. He doesn’t talk excessively, but he gives directives well. He’s firm, but not mean, and moves at warp speed just like the other 2 men. Dude is friendly and gives great eye contact. His team seems to really respect him. Their collectively energy is great!
The last guy with the awesome hair is the real McGuyver of the team. We were losing daylight and he still managed to remove the last pillar of my 4 poster King bed and 1 slat just by touch and Nothing was destroyed. Say, what?! He also looks like he could have been a Boy Band recruiter in the 80s. But that’s neither here nor there.
Chris even sent an additional 2 guys early the next morning to clear out my small storage unit. Who trained these guys—the Energizer Bunny? I know the storage place is right here in my apartment complex parking lot, but to empty a storage unit and haul everything up 2 flights of stairs in 45 minutes flat is just otherworldly! They are THAT good! Great job, trainers!!!
I don’t remember their names. I just know the man who drove looks like he could be the love child of Mario Lopez and Selena. The other nice guy just obviously rode shotgun so he wouldn’t get fined.
Mind you, it was 30 Degrees outside on BOTH days.
All in all, the Entire A FEW MOVES team works well, quickly, and are really professional. No one walked off with my Lithium that I forgot was in plain sight. None of the guys tried to proposition me for oral favors. No one offered weed for sale when Brian wasn’t looking. AND NOTHING broke.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
I remember expressing my concerns about working closely with men all by myself. I’m a single woman with a Very traumatic past. Chris informed me that ALL A Few Moves employees are background checked nationally, not just statewide; searched for on the s*x offender registry, and undergo a thorough reference check Before Hire. Job was not properly supplied with blankets to cover furniture and furniture was damaged. They did not wrap washer and dryer and dryer was all scratched up. Movers were super friendly but owner tried to over charge and add for items already included on estimate. I would definitely not recommend this company.

Few Moves done such a great job. Chris did my estimate and he is so polite and professional, he answered all questions and he right about how much time it would take. The movers were great as well, Chris told us that they would take the stress out of moving and make it fun and that they did. Bryan, Tylor, Corey and Percy got the job done in a timely manner, they were friendly, professional and strong. Thank you so much Few Moves, we will definitely use you again and recommend you to everyone.

Few Moves is a wonderful company. Came on day 1 and explained the entire process and told me to feel free to ask questions at any time and the engineer in me didn’t hesitate to ask. They packed our kitchen and closets on day 1 and watching them I don’t believe anything will break in the transport. They then wrapped all the furniture in plastic. Came back on day 2 and loaded all the furniture on the truck and padded everything.The crew were all professional, very courteous. 2 days after the move I received a call letting me know that they reduced the move cost by $500.00 because of the lower actual weight versus the estimated weight. My wife and I did eliminate some items but didn’t expect it to be anywhere near that much. That is what you call an honest company and it is hard to find that today.
