Great store, but on check out an item wasn’t priced, they call someone over to price it.
They don’t look at the clothing at all, they scan us up and down and quote a price double what literally everything else costs.
I don’t like the idea that I am being priced based on my personal appearance. It felt rude.
Won’t be returning to this store, but love the mission of the mission so will go to others.

It is always a pleasure to stop in and find new treasures in a store where you are welcomed so warmly by the staff. One person stands out above all… Mario. His compassionate and caring personality will keep current and new guests coming into the store. If you see him, go out of your way to extend your hand to him. I assure you, he deserves it.

I have been shopping at this location since 2007, and it has consistently been the best place to shop. The store offers low prices compared to others, and it is always clean and well-organized. The front-end staff are exceptionally respectful and welcoming. Notably, Keisha, Ms. Brooks, and Mario stand out for their excellent service.
Mario, in particular, is patient and attentive, making every shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. He skillfully presents various selections at great prices (a way for you to spend more money, but with good intention...lol). Overall, the team's professionalism and dedication significantly contribute to a positive shopping environment.

Mr. Mario and entire staff provided superb customer service. Immediately upon entry, I was greeted with warm hellos, smiles, and may I help. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and polite during initial and subsequent visits. Mario made sure I got everything that was on my list for furnishing two bedrooms. After completing my purchase, He facilitated securing my items in designated storage facility, gave me pick up tickets, provided contact information for delivery services, and coordinated pickup time. Upon my return he assisted with retrieval of all purchased items including hardware and coordinated loading items in personal box truck for transport to my home.
The cashiers made checkout fun with chatter and laughter. They work together as a team. They work well together. Upon checkout each cashier made sure each customer received the special holiday discount. They explained and signed up patrons for the loyalty program too. I was able to use points accumulated during initial visit purchase towards items purchased during my second visit!!!
The gentlemen working in loading area worked together as a team also! They paid close attention and handled items with care. My overall experience was absolutely stellar
During my shopping experiences at Briar Creek SATS. Hats off to Mr. Mario and team for making me feel like family. I thank and salute each of you!!!

They make the donation process to easy! you just pull your around back and they will take everything out of your car for you. The guys volunteering are always very gracious & kind!

I love Durham Rescue Mission! This one is so fun to browse because they always have lots of furniture outside (couches, tables, chairs, mirrors). Inside you’ll find lamps, clothes and shoes, kids toys, kitchen tools and dishes and so much more! Sometimes they get batches of clearance target items which is always a fun find! Highly recommend ??

Love this Durham Rescue Mission store!
Lots of great things from shorts,shoes and housewares and lots of nice furniture that we shopped for!
Great prices and got a discount for shopping during the week of July 4th?
The lady ringing up our purchases was extremely nice to us ? Friendly service with a smile and always helpful people working there with donations and taking things to your car/truck.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They lock the doors at 6:45 PM and kick people out at 6:50 PM. Drove 25 mins to get told I had to leave. They need to update their store hours on here. I wouldn't have come if I knew this in advance. Terrible customer service on top of the incorrect hours..

Good selection at this time of year. A gentleman loaded a piece of furniture I picked up. Found two folding doors for $15 a piece that were in perfect condition and fit my laundry room. Will definitely visit this place more often.
