I came in the rain to make a quick needed purchase. I arrived to the door locked. Associates continued to check each other out, and did not open the door. The time was 9:56p. I would have been in and out in a minute. No one comes to the door until 10:03pm. I express that i arrived before closing. I was then told that the store closes 5 minutes prior. If this is true, change your hours to refelct so.

The manager said he was too busy to help ring people up. I told him those products won’t expire or spoil if he left them there to come help people out. Selfish isn’t a good quality of a store manager who is supposed to be the example of great customer service and putting the customer before your own personal feelings of compensatory ego-boosting.

If I could give zero stars I most definitely would. The customer service is definitely lacking at this store as well as the cultural awareness. The cashier by the name of Mark was literally holding on to my bag and didn’t place it on the counter until I paid. I advised him that the dollar tree doesn’t have anything that I want. He looked at me with a goofy grin on his face he is truly the definition of a fool and the manager is no better. I spoke to an older lady who looked like a California raisin mouth all wrinkled up like crepe paper who stated her name was Cindy and she had the audacity enough to tell me I would be surprised and not to mention she has no cultural awareness at all she is very ignorant stating basically all minorities are the same she is such a closed minded individual who calls herself a manager but she clearly lacks class, style and intellect!!! Cindy lacks professionalism. I see she has several complaints so to me that speaks volumes about this company and the individuals they employ who lack integrity like Cindy. Go back to school and educate yourself and then level up besides the dollar tree prune. Definitely could benefit from taking classes on bias but it is obvious education is lacking.

This dollar has always been my go to spot to get things quickly... well today I went with my daughter in tow to get some side dishes and house hold things when I had arrived at the register and gotten all rang up I proceeded to swipe my ebt card multiple times kept getting please swipe again... this was the second occasion it happened first occasion the manager let me manually input my card and told me the new system is very sensitive in which I understood this time the same manger came running to the register saying "IF ITS Not SWIPING WE CAN'T USE IT " making a big schene in to which I said you personally have maully input it for me she decided to refund all my things while I stood embarrassed and eventually walked out ... I will not be back it was embarrassing and uncalled for to yell across the store and to lie about not doing it for me before.

The staff is so kind. I always get my balloon bouquets here for occasions & they’re so patient with me. I feel bad because I always get 8+, even 20 once but they never show any signs of being upset or annoyed. I appreciate them!

My mom had to go into this store to grab a few things. When she arrived the lights were off which made her think that they were closed. Cashiers were told buy the owner and district managers to cut the lights off to conserve energy. This is dangerous for customers as well as people working in the store. If you are not making enough money to keep your lights on then maybe you need to shut down your stores. I will be taking this further. This is unacceptable!

Tonight I was rushed out of the store by an African American manager wearing a long black weave and baseball cap. The associate the checked me out agreed that is NOT THE CLOSING TIME. I will be complaining to the manager tomorrow AND Corporate. The hours clearly state 10 o'clock. I walked in at 9:46. At 9:48 the manager said they were closing in 2 minutes I said the closing time says 10 o'clock pm. She ludicrously said we close at 5 minutes until 1O. WHAAAT! No store closes 5 minutes before an hour. I Came in plenty of time to get the items that I needed if they closed at 10. I stated I needed to use the restroom and I still was told that they were closing (early!!!!) I have never been rushed in this store before and am very disappointed.

I would have given it no stars but one is the lowest you can go. I Went in there yesterday and was treated so bad! I have never been treated that way by an employee at any store I've ever shopped at! Her name is Cindy! She was telling me to do her job for her! I don't understand why this woman is working in customer service! Just horrible and rude! I have called and emailed corporate. I will never go to this store again! I've also noticed she has many complaints on the reviews but no one has done anything about this. Why?

I always find when I'm looking for and the staff is always helpful. Ms. Gwen was my most recent point of contact and she is an absolute ray of sunshine and I can assure you she isn't being paid enough for the work she does. I'll continue to be a repeat customer :)
