Worst business ever. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. Useless employee answers the phone and says he doesn't work there, he just answers the phone. I've been trying to get the washing machine fixed that they sold me for almost a year. I've had them come out and say they would bring a new one in a few days and that was months ago. I'm still trying to chase them down and the business isn't even 5 minutes away from my home. Please don't give them your money. We need to let businesses like this close down. They don't deserve our business.

Purchased a used washer and dryer from here and was promised a warranty that ended up being a complete lie! Now the washer doesn’t work and will need to purchase a new one. BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT purchase appliances from here! SCAM ALERT!!

I tried to get them to replace the busted dryer that the installer said was horrible for over a year before I just gave up. It sounds like there’s bricks in it, it’s so loud. It rattles. Nevermind that what was delivered is NOTHING like what was advertised and what I paid for. These people gave me the run-around over and over and OVER again. Multiple text messages admitting they need to replace this hunk of junk. All saying, “I’ll take care of it.” Nothing ever done. They stopped answering my calls. They take your money, and deliver their garbage.

Discount City Appliances is not where you want to go no matter how cheap or how convenient the delivery seems to be. You will regret it. The owner didn't keep his word , then dodged my phone calls. But, he has hired "like minded" individuals to cover him. Can't believe he's still in business. Yelp where's the "0" stars option? BEWARE! Keep Driving! The sale is the most important thing to this business not service or quality.

Low price for new and open box appliances, delivery and installation was perfect and free, they also picked up the old once, I do recommend them because they tell you when to come and purchase the right item.

Today I called the store and was lucky enough to talk to the owner. I explained that the replacement fridge took 6 days to create ice. He told me that it's an older fridge so that means it's working. He asked me if I had asked for a new fridge? He then said he had a lot going and he would call me back. At no point did he ask me for any information. The call was placed at 4:03PM. No call back yet. I'll keep you all posted.

BUYER BEWARE!!!Bought a new Washer/Dryer from Discount City Appliances on a Monday. They delivered it on Tuesday evening. I reported that it was not working properly on Wednesday. They lied to me, drug me along, and refused to honor their own warranty for 37 days. I stayed in contact with them the entire time until finally, I called the warranty company myself. Shocker, they sent a repair tech out in just 3 business days. The tech arrived and let me know that the unit was not fixable. He stated it looked like "a bomb went off inside the unit" and suggested it looked like it had been pushed down a long flight of stairs. Not only was it broken and not fixable, but it was also unsafe to use at all. I immediately called my contact at the store with his report and was told they had other units to replace it and she would talk to the manager and he would call me to coordinate. Over the next 10 days, I was told numerous times that she or someone else would call me, no one ever did. I was also told 3 times that someone would be on their way to my house, but no one ever showed up. This is now a legal matter. BEWARE!!!

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Yelp should allow zero stars because 1 is far too generous for this organization. They were dishonest, incompetent, and failed to live up to their promises. Despite the store manager stating it had been extensively tested, the dishwasher leaked the next day and was defective as confirmed in less than 2 minutes by the repairman that I hired. The store would do nothing about it. Don't go near this store unless you want to throw your money away.

You don't get a BMW for the price of a Kia, OK? This is a good place to get refurbished washer & dryers and their 1 year warranty is legit. Bought several things here, I'll probably buy several more. Good stuff for the price.

SCAM!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, SUBPAR APPLIANCES AND JUST AN OVERALL JOKE! Stay away from this "business" as they will give you the run around for weeks and when it finally gets delivered will not be what you ordered. Dennis, one of the delivery guys, was pleasant at first but once I started asking questions became rude. The "owner" [Ed] is beyond tacky and unprofessional. I saw someone else mention there being back and forth with someone named "T" and "Ed"; this was also my experience. Be advised that what's on the website is not what you will get. One star is much more than they deserve!

I am relocating to Raleigh. A friend recommended I try this company. I wasn’t ready to buy a $2000.00 washer/drier combo. I have to say I am amazed at the customer service I have received. From my initial phone call to my subsequent follow up calls I have been treated by professional and polite employees. They have been very accommodating to my needs even arranging delivery the following day of my order.This is what I consider the epitome of great customer service and excellent prices. Thank you! I will certainly recommend to anyone who needs appliances.

I purchased an appliance online and never received the email confirmation the website said I would. I called to cancel and they basically refused to cancel it. So after being told twice they’d call me back to set up delivery. 3 weeks later I still haven’t heard from them and never received anything from them yet they’re fighting with my bank over the $420 I gave them online for the washing machine they never gave me. Theses guys are idiots.

We went to the 99c Aooluance Center store on Hillsborough street to buy a used fridge, we were surprised they had more than just appliances, this place got everything. The staff was very helpful during the whole process, we got our fridge delivered the same day, which you can’t get this anywhere, my fridge went down the night before and I needed a fridge right away, they promised to deliver it the same day, we got it the same afternoon. I just like to thank them for helping us out, we were able to save our food .

Went to this place spent 211 dollars on a washer and to have it delivered. It came and never worked not one time. Called and was told to text and number with my address and the problem. I did that was in February, it's now March and I still haven't seen anyone. They refuse to return the money but claim will fix it. Oh and I brought a 9ne year warranty. What a waste of money and time

I'm actually a repeat customer from when they were in Tower Shopping Center and at their location on Hillsborough St. As of 2 weeks ago, this is My third set and they totally ripped me off. Clothes come out dripping wet. Even after an extra spin cycle. Called and the owner came out. Stayed 5 minutes. Still not working. May as well still be going to laundromat. Single mom. Don't have time or money to waste.
