I can't believe this place is still in business. WoW, there's a likelihood your items may be damaged ! They actually scooped up 3 guys from the street on the morning to perform my move-Yep, I asked the workers. The scam is for the crew to work slow, take breaks often and solicit for tips before they get halfway through the job. You will be pissed.

Delvynne came to my home to assess what needed to be moved. He gave me a quote and it remained the same. I loved the fact that it didn't change on moving day, as some other moving companies give you a quote and don't honor it. Dwayne; Kelvin, Travis, and Fred are HARD WORKING MEN! They were very personable and very committed to completing our move without damaging any furniture and delicate items. My family and I admire the tenacity of these 4 men. Very satisfied customers! ~Feliz

Just the best moving company. Our crew went above and beyond. They were kind and prepared all of the items wonderfully before attempting to move them. Dwayne and Fred are a top notch team. There are not enough positive words to express how amazing my move went thanks to Dwayne, DJ and Fred! They were efficient, professional, friendly and didn't complain once! They took great care of all of my stuff. I am very grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone for their next move.

At first things were going good. There were 3 guys, I had 5 pieces of furniture and washer and dryer. Took them 4 hours and cost me about $600 (felt like this could have been done quicker) especially because I felt like the 3rd guy went missing for a while (I think he walked to the store or something) but anyways I still paid cause I had to get this stuff done. I still had a lot of boxes to move, Dwayne tells me to call him directly and he could give me a discount to get the rest of my stuff moved. We scheduled for Sunday 10/30/22 at 10am. I went and rented a Uhaul and picked it up at 9am so I was ready to go. So time went by and they were late so I call him.. he says "oh I couldn't find your number (mind you we talked the day before around noon) we are finishing up a job and will be there by 12pm. So things happen so I was ok. 1pm rolls around and they still were not here so I called and he ignored the call and sent it to voicemail. I called 2 more times and he did the same thing and never showed up. So there I was stuck with a Uhaul truck and no movers. Very unprofessional way to handle business.

If I could give this company a negative star I would. I normally don’t leave reviews but this moving experience was a nightmare. There were three men sent to move me from a 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT to a house that was 10 minutes down the street. The movers took 7 hours to complete the move!!! They also broke my bed, my kids dresser and my tv stand. Once the job was horribly completed they quoted me $1100+. After several negotiation attempts we agreed to $760. The dispatcher agreed the job should not have taken that long and the workers were lazy. Later this company used my credit card on file and stole $400+. I called to dispute and the owner says there was never an agreement. Stealing from a customer when you have provided poor quality service is sickening. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!

The moving team was great! Our stuff was moved from the first floor to the third floor with no damages. The guys were friendly and professional.We would definitely use their service again if we move. 10/10!

I took the day off to meet these guys and they called to tell me they'd be late, okay understandable. Then they called to tell me they wouldn't be coming that day at all, they'd have to come in the morning because their truck broke down, okay these things happen. They show up in the morning with too small of a truck and leave my storage unit half full and ask "is this good?", no this is not good. Then they scratched up our couch. And we're rude about it saying "there's no evidence we did that," okay sure we're not forensic experts but the cuts in the leather weren't there before and now they are. Never an apology or offer for a discount. I'm only thankful they were able to do the move on short notice... which I guess now know why they were available.

Do not use this moving company. This is the first time I've ever left a review for a business but the experience was so awful I felt I had to share and warn other prospective customers. DC Movers broke the air conditioning in my apartment (along with several other personal items) leaving me without AC in 95 degree weather and the company did little to nothing to compensate me after the fact. Communication was poor from the start. I was under the impression the pick-up and drop-off portions of my move would be done in the same day. 2 days before my move was suppose to happen I was told they would pick up my things on a Friday then drop items off the following day (despite receiving emails saying otherwise). The movers arrived 45 mins late on pick-up day. Additionally, the signed contract stated I would be provided with 3 movers and a truck for the fee I paid. Only 2 movers were present for both pick-up and drop-off. Movers dropped several of my boxes scattering my personal items across the hallway of my apartment building and causing several items to break. When moving a couch, the movers ripped the thermostat in my new apartment completely off the wall. I was told I could fill out forms to be compensated for the damage. I sent numerous emails over the course of the next week trying to follow up on the damage claims and did not get a response. When I finally got ahold of someone on the phone, they were rude and patronizing and told me that nothing could be done to compensate me for ripping the thermostat off the wall. Ultimately, they wound up paying me $150 for the personal items they broke and said that it was "more than what they normally paid" to help compensate for the AC too.

Thank you to Dwayne, Fred and DJ and everyone at DC Movers for helping me coordinate a seamless move. I was extremely stressed as I prepared for my move. DC Movers safely load all of my furniture and boxes, etc. The movers were very professional young men. Polite and courteous, the lead guy, Dwayne is an asset I’m sure the company knows that. I will recommend their services to friends and family in the area.

They were efficient, professional, friendly and didn't complain once! They took great care of all of my stuff. I am very grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone for their next move.

DC Movers did a wonderful job for me. The prices were competitive and the guys cared about what they were doing. I will use them again and recommend them to people I know. Word of mouth is the best review anyway.
