I’ve lived in the area for quite some time, and have been to Dancing Moon on and off for years. Some past years, the vibes have been off. Recently, however, it’s been wonderful to visit. I do find they don’t have quite as much stock as they used to - less tarot and less books in particular. They do have a pretty good suggestion even still. One thing they do have a lot of is knowledge; I’ve asked a lot of questions over the years and this is still the place that I come to get both answers and solutions. Price-wise they’re pretty middle of the pack, but the quality is nearly always great. Just wish that they carried more Pagan-oriented things like statuary. Some of the most beloved things in my home come from this store.

We go here all the time and it’s always a wonderful experience! Such friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve found every store of this type in the area but this one is by far the best.

Came in for the first time today and was absolutely blown away by the selection and ease of navigating all products available. Walking through the door I was jubilantly greeted by Caroline and Kate and immediately made to feel at home. I love how many locally sourced products were available. Will definitely be coming back soon!-Angus

Given the limited availability of metaphysical/spiritual shops around the Durham/Raleigh area, I'm glad to have found this place. They had an amazing selection of beautiful crystals and even singing bowls. Having recently purchased a singing bowl, I was still trying to get the technique down. One of the employees gave me some pointers which I appreciated. Overall, The Dancing Moon is a beautiful store and the people were friendly and helpful. I'm definitely coming back in the near future!

Love this place! It has such good vibes and something for everyone. The staff was lovely and kind and happy to answer any questions! They have a wonderful candle selection and TONS of crystals and incense. They have so many beautiful specimens of large crystals that are fun to look at (even if out of my budget!). Their jewelry is also gorgeous and I'm looking forward to coming back again! Highly recommend!

DO NOT BUY TEA FROM HERE! I am a loose leaf tea connoisseur and it’s my “witchy” thing, like i’m known for my teas. I bought about $45 worth of loose leaf teas and they all taste horrible like rancid, even the pre-made mixes. There effects also don’t work nearly as well as other crystal places (i.e mullein and chamomile). I would not waste the money and I absolutely hate that I can only use things for non-edible things like honey jars, since i will not be drinking that lol
