My recent trip to Costco Tire Service Center left much to be desired, due to the customer service provided by Mark, one of the employees. From the moment I approached him for a tire rotation and balance, he was anything but helpful. Instead, he was rude, condescending, and lacked professionalism.
Mark's dismissive attitude made what should have been a routine maintenance task a frustrating ordeal. It's disappointing that such behavior degraded Costco's reputation for quality service. In addition to that, I had an appointment and they didn’t even pull my car in until 30 minutes after my scheduled time.
I didn’t read any reviews before going but wish I had due to there being multiple other bad reviews about Mark.

If you are running into the employee named Mark, walk away ! otherwise you are about to have a bad day, We were just here for a mere tire inspection which we had an appointment, when we were at the counter he was like, why are you here ? and when I said we want to get my tires checked because we want a second opinion he literally asked if we are trying to test our usual vehicle service center (which is none of his business), I said no Im not trying to test anyone I just want to get my tires checked, I can see another person from 3 years ago reviewed this same guy and seems mangement doesnt care about CUSTOMER SERVICE. This guy is downright ARROGANT, CONDESCENDING and USELESS to be in customer service.

My wife and I shop at Costco located at 2838 WAKE FOREST RD, Raleigh, NC. Our shopping also includes buying car tires. I'm now convinced that there is a pattern of poor customer service with the representative named Mark who works at the Tire Service Desk. It happened again today, Nov. 27, 2023. Mark is rude, arrogant, and condescending. His customer service skills are simply poor.

If you are in any kind of urgency do yourself a favor and find elsewhere. This branch is not looking for more customers. Appointments one week out walk ins end of day if you get there first thing in the am

Took my car here for an inspection of a VERY slow leak on one tire. They couldn’t repair it which was totally fine, I was prepared to replace whatever I needed. But then they broke my pressure sensor and said they fixed it but it’s still not working. They also put my spare on without my permission when the original tire was still very drivable. They were closing when I picked my car up so I didn’t notice anything until I got home and I don’t know if they messed up the original tire or what happened. They also don’t have any tires of my size in stock so I’m left with no choice but to go somewhere else because I can’t drive on a spare. They also charged me for the tire repair without looking at it first and wouldn’t refund it and chalked it up to “labor fees” even though they didn’t fix anything (they actually broke things) and the inspection was supposed to be free. Overall the workers here are very nice and try to be as helpful as they can, I think there’s just a lack of communication and streamlined service.

Bought hearing aids less than 6 months ago. Started having problems over time and lately unwearable. I called and spoke with Jamie at the hearing aid department. My understanding is I had six months to return warranty. Jamie told me today was my last day to return for refund which initially surprised me. Then she said I couldn't return it without appointment and the following week was the soonest. I asked what I can do and she said I will talk with a specialist and get back to me. I know a brush off when it happens so I decided to take them back since today was the last day. At the store I was put in a waiting status so I looked up my financial statements and I found I had 10 more days left to return them. After hanging out for 30 minutes they started paperwork. I then told Jamie her information was incorrect because I had 10 days left and had I known I would have scheduled a return date. I looked her straight in the eyes and said that she made a mistake. She refused to admit the mistake and I kept telling her she needs to take responsibility for the mistake. She refused after I asked several times and I explained to her manager I wasn't letting her get away with it. If she admitted she made a mistake then she would have to apologize to me for her mistake and causing me to rush to the store, anticipating a problem situation. It did feel like a big hustle to me but they eventually did the right thing. I'm thinking about writing a letter to Charlie Munger their biggest investor. Has them on a pedestal and billions invested. Jamie was the bigger problem and that's why I gave a 2 star rating
